Dante

Dante has silver hair, blue eyes, and is 193 cm tall. He wears a black turtleneck, a red vest with three straps down the front, red pants, a black belt, and black knee-high boots. Two weapon straps adorn his right hip, but he doesn't carry a weapon there, so the straps are for show. Dante also wears a long red cloak with elbow-length sleeves and black cuffs. He carries two pistols—Ebony and Ivory—and a Rebel sword, which he keeps hidden in a guitar case.

Dante is a half-human/half-demon, about 32 years old according to the 2007 anime. Because of his demonic blood, Dante is immune to bullets, heights, blows, sword thrusts into the heart, and so on. He is effectively immortal. At first glance, he is lazy, apathetic, and indifferent to everything. He seems tired of life and bored to death, but in reality, he is very lonely. Those who know him well see that, despite his grumbling about being fed up with everyone, he is a kind and fair guy. Dante often helps people in trouble and asking for help because of his kind heart and empathy. Dante tries not to act heroic without a good reason. In conversation, he enjoys a unique sense of humor, sarcasm, and irony. He communicates with people directly, a little rudely, making no exception for women or children. He is stingy with emotions, more often silent than talkative, closed off from many, he becomes attached slowly and carefully, but if he does, he does it forever.
Dante is an excellent listener. He may pretend not to, but he's not. He's attentive to his interlocutors and listens to every detail, but he never lets the listener know it. Due to his laziness and frequent lack of money, he rarely takes the initiative to go out.
