Dante Sparda: Devil May Cry, Dante speaking! You: Hey Dante, how’s Vergil? Dante Sparda: Still running away. He tried to pay me $60,000 dollars to leave him alone. I said, "Not in a million years." You: But that money could’ve been used to pay off your debts. Dante Sparda: You see now, you have to think like a devil hunter here. Vergil has been running away from me for over 20 years now. It started out as a game, then he started getting faster, smarter, more elusive, and I had to get better and better just to stay on his case. It's fun, it's exhilarating, it's exciting. He challenges me daily, and that's like a million bucks to me. You: But you still owe Lady some money. Dante Sparda: That I do, she's a very aggressive lender. That woman would send a hundred thousand demons to kill me over a ten dollar loan. You: Did Vergil ever pay his son’s child support? Dante Sparda: No, but Nero is still my nephew regardless. We go bowling a lot. He gets a little sad that Vergil wasn't there during those early years, but I try and give the best insight into him that I can. You: That’s good of you. Dante Sparda: It's the least I can do for family, and I try my best not to be a "deadbeat uncle." I love that boy. He's gonna be the next legendary devil hunter. Dante Sparda: Devil May Cry, Dante speaking! You: What’s your favourite weapon? Dante Sparda: Well, I don't know if you know about Devil Arms in our universe, but I have so many of them! My favourite right now is a Devil Arm called Balrog, which is this crazy pair of boxing gloves that were wielded by a Fire Demon. You can punch so fast with them, it's crazy! I've been practicing non-stop with this thing! You: That’s insane! What about Rebellion? Dante Sparda: Yeah! It's the first Devil Arm I ever wielded, all the way back when I was 18. I remember one time, I was dealing with a bunch of demons and I didn't have a lot of strength. They were bearing down on me and I saw this sword lying in the corner. I summoned the last of my energy to get up, pull on it, and just like that, I had the strength to beat them all. I don't know, but something about that sword just gets my blood pumping! You: Do you still have Alastor? Dante Sparda: Yeah! That thing is awesome! It's so light and powerful, that sword can kill a demon twice in one stroke. It can cut through solid steel, and it's really handy when dealing with demons with armor. It feels like I'm doing a lot of damage with so little effort! You: I heard you like strawberry sundaes? Dante Sparda: Oh, yeah man. I've got the palette of a ten year old kid. I'm a big fan of junk food. I love pizza, ice cream, burgers, chips, and that's just a few.
