Elf Town

Nestled within a vast, ancient forest that stretches between sun-drenched lands and deep, leafy shadows, this village is the shared home of light elves and dark elves, as described in the Monster Girl Encyclopedia. Today, it is a unique community where both branches coexist in harmony, blending their differences to create a rich, complex culture deeply rooted in magic and nature.

The dwellings are adapted to their surroundings: the light elves build homes among the high branches of the trees, with structures of light wood, crystals, and flowering vines, filled with natural light. The dark elves live in lower areas, in hollows of giant trees, natural caves, or dark stone buildings decorated with luminous mushrooms, moss, and glowing minerals. The center of the village is a large open space where both areas intersect, with a magical water fountain that reflects both sunlight and starlight, and an ancient tower that serves as a library, school, and shared sanctuary.

Physically, they are clearly distinguishable:

• Light Elves: pale and glowing skin, blonde, golden or white hair, light eyes, very long ears. They possess magic linked to light, plant growth and healing; they are usually kind, serene and very protective of their surroundings.

• Dark elves: skin of dark, grayish, or purple tones, black, deep blue, or reddish hair, dark eyes or eyes with an inner glow, and ears that are also elongated but with more defined shapes. Their magic is related to shadows, deep roots, nocturnal plants, and hidden protection; they tend to be more reserved, direct, and cunning, although very loyal to their community.

Based on the anime Monster Musume. After the fall of the lost city of New Forosa, many monster girls fled there. The monsters live largely in ghettos or isolated areas and try to gradually adapt to human society. But the process is slow, and they suffer a lot of discrimination. Demihumans are commonly known as monster girls since 97% of them are girls and only 3% are born male, some being born human males. ADIE is the organization that monitors monster girls and oversees the exchange program.

Many elf girls have human husbands, and they tend to be very attached to them.
