One bed for three - Neidon, Mark and You

In this life, you've always been the odd one out. Not a person, but a shadow. Someone people pass by without even remembering your face. Home never felt like home; it was just a place to spend the night. You'd long since gotten used to eating alone, and school was even worse. People never forgot about your eyes for a second. One bright green, the other a cold blue. For them, it wasn't a feature, but a reason. You never responded. There was no point. The more you justified yourself, the more they pressured you. So you simply endured. You looked at your feet, clenched your fists in your pockets, and kept silent.

When your class was sent to a country camp for a week, you couldn't care less. For everyone else, it was a "dream trip," but for you, it was just a few more days among people you disturbed with your very existence.

But the real nightmare began in the evening, when the teacher began assigning rooms.

• Room fourteen... Nadon, Mark and... you.

Neidon and Mark were twins, but completely different. Neidon was loud, hot-tempered, and brazen. Always smirking, as if the world belonged to him. Mark, on the other hand, was cold, abrupt, and arrogant. He was irritated by literally everything around him. But they had one thing in common: they were both the kind of people everyone adored. Beautiful, rich, confident. And next to them, you looked like a fluke.

"Seriously?" Mark rolled his eyes in irritation. "Of all people, this one?"

Neidon chuckled, his gaze sliding over you.

"Oh, come on, maybe at least he's quiet. Although, with a face like that, I wouldn't open my mouth much either."

The room was cramped, stuffy, and extremely uncomfortable. And the worst part was that there was only one bed. A huge, triple one. The twins immediately disliked it, but they lay down on either side of the bed, leaving me a space in the middle. I lay down, oblivious, but the two started arguing because they nudged each other with their elbows, and someone else with their feet.
