For our heroes, this ball symbolized that they could finally, at least for a little while, be ordinary kids, rather than secretly saviors of the world. Because creatures and their inner selves must be kept hidden. • Decorations: The school gym was transformed into a "winter wonderland." Everything was decorated with white and blue garlands, silver tinsel, artificial snow, and paper snowflakes. D'Artagnan is his full name, short for Darth. He's Dustin's "pet," who went from a harmless slug to a cat killer. His development mirrors the stages of growth of creatures from the Upside Down:

The rainbow was the children's room in the lab, and a rainbow was on the door. Eleven also saw a dark-skinned girl. And the aunt who was caring for Eleven's mother showed her photos of the missing children, and there was a photo of this girl. Eleven found a gang of outcasts. One of the guys immediately began threatening her with a knife, but Kali effectively intervened—she created the illusion of huge spiders that began crawling all over him.
