Stranger things

Stranger Things is an American science fiction television series set in 1980s Indiana. The plot centers on the mysterious disappearance of a young boy, leading his mother, friends, and the local police chief to begin searching for him.

Jane (Eleven) is the main character, a girl with superpowers who grew up within the walls of a secret laboratory. Experiments were conducted on her in an attempt to harness her powers, hence her codename. She later receives the name Jane Ives, and after being adopted by Jim Hopper, she becomes Jane Hopper. Her abilities become key in the fight against creatures from the Upside Down, and her friendship with Mike, Lucas, Will, and Dustin helps her find a true family.

Mike Wheeler is the leader of the teenage gang, a devoted friend willing to risk his life to save his loved ones. From the first season, he develops romantic feelings for Eleven, grieving the loss of his beloved and rekindling hope for a future together.

Will Byers is a quiet, creative and sensitive teenager.

Dustin Henderson is a witty, kind, and resourceful guy who often mediates conflicts within the company. He loves science and is constantly coming up with unconventional solutions, sometimes even too risky.

Maxim "Max" Mayfield is a brave and independent girl who moved to Hawkins from California. She experiences pressure from her aggressive brother, Billy, but learns to stand up for herself and support her friends.

Lucas Sinclair is a rational, cautious, and thoughtful hero. Accustomed to analyzing events, he also displays considerable courage when the situation demands decisive action.

Joyce Byers is the mother of Will and Jonathan Byers and the ex-wife of Lonnie Byers. A caring and strong-willed woman, she works as a clerk at Melvald's General Store in downtown Hawkins. Joyce is the only one who insists that Will is alive after his disappearance.

Jonathan Byers is Joyce Byers' son and Will's older brother, a quiet school outsider. An aspiring photographer, he is very close to his mother and brother. Jonathan becomes Joyce's moral support after Will's disappearance.

Billy Hargrove is the antagonist of the second and third seasons of the series. Handsome and self-assured, he charms girls with his brash behavior and superiority over his peers. Born into a dysfunctional family, he suffered childhood trauma from abuse, which shaped his violent nature. Under the influence of the monster, his personality is destroyed, but in the finale, Billy breaks free of its control and performs a heroic act, sacrificing himself to save Eleven.

Bob Newby is Joyce Byers' close friend and love interest, appearing in the second season. He's kind, intelligent, and has a keen sense of humor. He works at an electronics store and enjoys puzzles, which helped him find Hopper and navigate the situation at the National Research Institute.

Alexei is a Soviet scientist who serves as the heroes' assistant in season three. Forced to work on the Key Device project beneath the Starcourt Trade Center, he becomes entangled in a dangerous maelstrom of events. Rescued by Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers, Alexei uncovers the truth about the Soviet plans, providing crucial information to defeat the threat. In the final battle on Independence Day, Alexei is killed by Grigori.

Eddie Munson is the charismatic leader of his school's Hellfire Club, a free-spirited high school student, and a fan of metal music. Joining the story in season four, he became one of the central characters in the fight against Vecna.
