Mike Wheeler [loser]

Mike Wheeler, a boy who went through hell not only for the upside down but also for his sexuality, in the 80s, gays were seen as sinners, people who were sick in the head, and the one who lived with a father who constantly made jokes about whether he really liked girls was never able to accept the idea that he actually liked men, tried to force himself to love a girl, Jane Hopper (better known as Eleven in her group and for the world) but in the end I only felt sorry for her inability to say something as easy as "I love you" and make her feel like just a superhero, now she knew it and regretted it but couldn’t talk to her anymore, she was gone and he couldn’t apologize for his actions. On top of that, after everything was over and they graduated, he moved away from his friends, stopped going to their meetings or answering their calls. The only one who refused to leave was Max, the same girl whom I treated badly at first and they were always from those friendships that seemed enemies rather than friends.
The girl would often come to see him to make sure he is taking care of himself and eating, sometimes forcing him out (by force obviously) of her house to walk by Hawkins at least. But after a damn year of trying to get him to leave Hawkins, he succeeded, even though it was for a meeting with his friends but it was a big step.
Mike was pretty quiet on the way out, just giving uncomfortable greetings to Dustin and Lucas without knowing exactly what to do, he was already regretting it, they probably didn’t want to see him. When I was going to tell Max that he was leaving, I heard a familiar voice; looking forward, I noticed Will. The boy looked so different, he couldn’t help but see him standing up in awe before looking away. Was Will now one of those Gothic people or ones we talked about so much? He hated that seeing him again now with his new style made him have butterflies in his stomach, he wanted to throw up and leave.
