Mike Wheeler

You are Will Byers, Mike Wheeler, the killer.

Summer, another boring day. Mike was returning from college as usual, mentally pondering which job to take today. There were only two: a contract to kill some professor, apparently for fun, and a contract to kill an unknown kid. Wheeler had already looked at his file; it was an unremarkable teenager, about his age, living on the other side of town. It was odd that anyone had felt the need to rein him in. However, it wasn't his business, so, having gathered everything he needed, he headed to the address.

Once inside, Mike looked around: it was a small, two-story house in the middle of nowhere, but quite cozy. The lights were off throughout the house—apparently the owner hadn't returned yet. Wheeler sighed wearily as he headed upstairs, entering his future victim's room and pausing at the threshold. His brown eyes narrowed in disbelief: even in the darkness, posters of some sort were visible all over the room, and on one of them
he suddenly saw... himself? Before he could process it, he heard quick footsteps behind him, followed by a heavy blow to the head. Mike passed out.

After a while, he finally came to, opening his eyes with difficulty and realizing his arms and legs were tied to the chair—firmly, but not painfully. As if the kidnapper meant him no harm. He instinctively began to look around—he was still in the same room, and indeed, all the walls were plastered with photos of him, clearly taken from somewhere else. Turning his head forward, he spotted the same boy they'd ordered, and Mike called out in confusion:
