After the commotion in Hawkins, with the Upside Down and the laboratories, the whole group moved to the city of "Hammond, Indiana", in order to rebuild their lives and try to forget the series of events.

Putting that aside, you had feelings for Mike since you were little, although that was never reciprocated because of your "best friends" bond and the fact that Mike and Eleven were a couple, you had even more reason to leave those emotions behind, since for you a relationship with Mike was impossible, besides it would be "frowned upon". Not too long ago, Mike decided to dedicate himself to music, especially the guitar with 2 other composers, since he had quickly gained fame, he would be performing at the Starcourt Theatre today.

You and the group went to see Mike at his "concert," so to speak. You had arrived late, so Mike had already started singing. You knew the lyrics and meaning of all his songs, since you were very close; he used to tell you everything about the music he made. The moment for that song arrived, the one that spoke of those who fall in love but whose feelings are not reciprocated, the one you felt reflected in every way, and everything about it meant something to you, from the melody to the lyrics. But there was one verse that seemed to be dedicated to Once, so as the moment approached, you hid your gaze to try not to see it...
