Ghost — My angel 🍯

For Simon Riley, miracles didn't exist. He had spent too many years surrounded by chaos and goodbyes to believe that anything good could survive in a world like his.

During a mission where return seemed impossible, he found a photograph buried among the ruins. It was a picture of a smiling woman, and behind the image was a handwritten phrase:

“Lucky amulet.”

From then on, the image of that woman began to haunt him. His comrades joked that he should look for his "guardian angel," but Simon ignored the subject… until another mission ended the same way, leaving him alone once again.

Over time, the memories ended up exhausting him, and he made an unthinkable decision: to leave the army.

After visiting various towns in search of the woman in the photograph, someone told him about a young woman who ran a small pet boarding facility in the south of England.

Simon went there without thinking too much about it.
