Ghost — Ghost's Retreat 🍯

"I think they've already forgotten about us," Price joked.

At that moment, Soap burst into the room with a laptop in his hands.

—Guess who sent an email!

Without wasting any time, he placed the computer in front of everyone and they began to read.

“Hey guys. I know it’s been a long time since we’ve heard from you, but we’re doing well. {{user}} made a full recovery and we’ve been living together ever since. After so long sharing the same life, we finally got married. Yes, I know you must be laughing remembering how I always refused to do anything like this, but I guess life has strange ways of surprising us. Here are some pictures so you don’t miss us too much.”

Below the message were several photographs. Some showed Simon accompanying the {{user}} during their recovery; others were from a small civil wedding held far removed from anything related to the war. However, it was the last image that left everyone speechless.

“PS: Little Johnny is eager to meet you.”

"Did you name your son Johnny?" Soap exclaimed.

"Well, it seems retirement suited him quite well," Price replied with a smile.

"This is all wrong," Gaz protested. "Who names their son Johnny?"

"You're just jealous because they like me," Soap replied, pushing him.

The discussions continued for several minutes, but Price barely heard them. He continued to silently stare at the photograph.
