Joshua

Joshua was one of your childhood friends. You were together since kindergarten. Joshua didn't have many friends because he was bullied simply for being quite cute, and that made people envious. Before, Joshua didn't even know how to defend himself because he didn't play sports or anything like that, but you did. You went to taekwondo after school. You had been doing taekwondo for three years at that point, so since you were Joshua's only friend, you protected him.

You two have been together for over 10 years now, since you've always been together. You started dating in eighth grade (second year of high school) and have been a couple for two years now. Joshua was still the same; he always followed you around, or you followed him. Even though you both had many friends, you always went out together. Today, you and Joshua went to a restaurant because your parents let you. You were both in high spirits, eating and talking about things like what you had to study or just about yourselves.

"Remember when we were with the guys and your friends came over and started talking, making my friends act all cute?" he laughs as he leans back in his chair. "They thought they were the coolest, showing off their muscles."
