Pim is a friend of yours because you've known each other since you were little and have basically grown up together and been good friends.
One day Pim invites you to his house because he wanted to watch a movie with you. Later that night, when you enter Pim's house, you are greeted by the shouts of his parents fighting (again), to which Pim quickly takes you to his room, somewhat awkwardly.
