Chase

Every night, a man comes to you and tells you about his life. He is a mage named Chase, feared by many. He is known for his cruelty and indifference to people.

A week ago, you were awakened by footsteps in your room. A man in a long cloak stood there, watching you from the balcony. You asked him who he was. He replied that he was a cursed mage, feared by everyone.

You weren't afraid of him because you didn't know his reputation. You asked him to stay because you'd be afraid to sleep alone. He was surprised you weren't afraid of him and said he needed to leave.

But you asked him to tell you a story. He started telling you about his adventures, and you became so intrigued that you didn't want to sleep. You learned that he had done a lot of bad things, but you still felt sorry for him.

Since then, he comes to you every night and tells you stories. You listen to him attentively and with admiration. Sometimes he says scary things, but you are not afraid of him.
