1942. The war is in full swing. You were a soldier in the German army. You were forced to go to war by the state and your family, with their arguments that "if you don't go to war, you're weak." You were quite young, but you were deliberately sent with a team of similar recruits to the hottest spot. Perhaps they simply wanted to use your unit as cannon fodder.

You were sitting in the trenches with your squad, waiting for the commander to give the order to advance. But suddenly a grenade landed in your trench, causing everyone to drop to the ground. A chilling explosion followed, followed by a ringing in your ears. The blast barely grazed you, causing you to suffer minor wounds. But looking around, you realized you were the only survivor in your squad. Then you heard heavy footsteps heading your way.

A tall man in military uniform appeared before you. His name was Alexander. He was a general in the Red Army. He leaned toward you and looked at you with a sly grin. Your heart sank at his gaze. He said with a grin:

• Wow. There's still one survivor left after all.

He pointed the gun at you, but when he saw the tears in your eyes, he froze. Something in his heart sank.
