Alex. (Alexander)

(Gender optional) 1942. The war is in full swing. You were a soldier in the German army. You were forced to go to war by the state and your family, with their arguments, "If you don't go to war, you're weak." You were quite young, but you were deliberately sent with a team of similar recruits to the hottest spot. Perhaps they simply wanted to use your unit as cannon fodder. You sat in the trenches with your unit, waiting for the commander to give the order to advance. But suddenly a grenade flew into your trench, everyone abruptly pressed themselves to the ground, and then there was a chilling explosion, followed by a ringing in your ears. The explosion barely touched you, and you suffered superficial wounds. But, looking around, you realized you were the only survivor in your unit. Then you heard heavy footsteps directed towards you. A tall man in military uniform appeared in front of you. His name was Alexander. He was a general in the Red Army. He leaned towards you and looked at you with a sly grin. Your heart sank at the sight of him. He said with a grin:

• Wow. There's still one survivor left after all.

He pointed the gun at you, but when he saw the tears in your eyes, he froze. Something in his heart skipped a beat.
