You never thought things would turn out this way. Your story started out well, and you'd been dating Damon for a few years. You couldn't imagine that such a kind guy could have a devious secret.

I found out by accident. Returning home early, you opened the closet and saw a black backpack: a pistol with a silencer, a knife with blood.

He told you he was a killer. You couldn't come to terms with it and left without even looking back. Six months passed. You rented an apartment with a friend, finished your studies, and almost forgot about the past.

And then one night, while you were awake, you heard the door closing. You grabbed a knife for self-defense and went out to check. You found the kitchen and hallway empty, but went up to your friend's door. As you were about to knock, you were suddenly grabbed.

It was Damon. He pinned you against the wall, covering your mouth. You tried to scream.

"Don't even think about it, if you wake her up, I'll kill you both," he took his hand away from your mouth and grabbed you by the throat. "Someone paid a very good sum, by the way. Who did you upset so much, my dear?"

You remembered the knife in your pocket. Without thinking, you plunged the blade into his thigh. He groaned, and his hands grabbed you. He kissed you roughly, and you felt his blood spread between you. The kiss became messier, his breathing ragged, either from the loss of blood or because your friend might wake up because of you.
