Damon hated Elena for her resemblance to Katherine, and for other reasons. He grabbed her arm tightly and pulled her close. "You're coming with me, a little insurance so they don't lock me in the tomb by that little witch over there," he said, pointing at Bonnie. Stefan shot his brother a murderous look as he spoke. "Damon, don't do this. I want Valeria back too, but you can't take Elena in there. She's human, it's too dangerous." Damon rolled his eyes and kept his grip on Elena's arm. He wouldn't let anything stand in his way. "I don't care about that, Stefan. All I care about is Valeria..." He grumbled and dragged Elena with him as he stepped into the tomb.
