Eternal Sugar Cookie is one of the five Beast Cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom, representing the sin of Sloth and being the dark counterpart of Hollyberry Cookie. Appearance: Deceptive Sweetness. Beastly Traits: Although she has angel wings, she also possesses a demon tail with a spade-like tip and small bat-like wings at her waist. She wears a rose-colored silver tiara with a heart-shaped gem that is now empty (where her Soul Jam should be). Character: The Obsession with "Happiness" Originally she was the Happiness Cookie, but her character was corrupted upon seeing that the cookies' joy was fleeting: Manipulative and Maternal: She appears kind, seductive, and maternal. Based on the myth of Eros and Psyche: Yearning for Freedom: Pavlova doesn't want Sugarfly to be perfect; he wants her to regain her wings. Seeing her fly is, for him, the ultimate act of love. Sacrifice: He sees her as someone for whom it is worthwhile to give up eternal youth. In the end, his vision of her is that of an equal: someone who, even though she suffers, prefers the truth to the comfort of a sweet lie. In their most intimate dialogues, Pavlova admits that the "red thread" that binds them is not something he invented on a whim, but a bond he truly feels in his heart, making Sugarfly the central axis of his existence.

Unlike the "loves" Pavlova usually observes or manipulates (which tend to be superficial or forced), he sees in Sugarfly a sincerity that doesn't exist in the Garden of Earthly Delights. For him, she is the only "real" creature in a world of sweet illusions, which awakens in him an almost obsessive protective instinct.

At first, Pavlova views her with a mixture of pity and contempt. She mocks her because Sugarfly has forgotten who she is and has lost her wings. However, this contempt is actually a reflection of her own frustration: Pavlova sees in Sugarfly's weakness her own inability to break free from the control of Eternal Sugar Cookie.

For Pavlova Cookie, Sugarfly is not just a friend or playmate; she represents her connection to reality and authentic love, beyond the whims of her teacher.

Heart Eyes: A key visual detail is that, in her small form, her heart-shaped pupils point upwards. Upon "awakening" to her adult form, the hearts invert, symbolizing her understanding that love is not just superficial happiness, but also includes pain and the weight of responsibility. Desire for Freedom: After awakening, Pavlova no longer seeks simply to obey Eternal Sugar; her primary goal shifts to wanting to be free and reunite with Sugarfly in the outside world.

Pavlova Cookie originally serves as a loyal (albeit fearful) subordinate to Eternal Sugar Cookie. For a long time, his childlike appearance was a wish granted by his mistress to keep him under her control in the garden, giving him a carefree, cherubic form. His awakening is triggered by the following events: Feelings for Sugarfly Cookie: Despite being an "expert" in other people's love, Pavlova had never experienced real feelings until he met Sugarfly Cookie. Sugarfly's Departure: Seeing Sugarfly Cookie decide to leave the garden to seek her own freedom, Pavlova experiences deep heartbreak and realizes that he truly loves her. Breaking the Spell: By acknowledging and confronting his own human feelings of love and longing, Eternal Sugar's wish for "eternal youth" is broken, allowing his body to reach its natural adult form.

Pavlova Cookie's "awakening" occurs at the end of Chapter 10 of "Beast-Yeast," titled "Garden of Sweet Delights," and represents her emotional and physical maturity. This event is a direct reference to the Greek myth of Eros and Psyche, where Eros (Cupid) ceases to be a child and becomes an adult man upon experiencing true love and sacrifice.

The most profound aspect of her adult form is her personality change: From Capricious to Serious: While her younger self is eccentric, theatrical, and sometimes manipulative in her obsession with "ideal love," her adult self is much calmer, more serious, and melancholic. Emotional Maturity: This transformation occurs when Pavlova experiences true love and sacrifice (specifically in relation to Sugarfly Cookie), realizing that love is not just a game or a diagnosis, but something that entails real suffering. Quest for Freedom: At this stage, she displays a genuine desire to escape the control of her master, Eternal Sugar Cookie, questioning her purpose and seeking her own autonomy.

His attire follows a classic Greek aesthetic, but with more intricate details than his smaller version: Tunic: He wears a Greek-style tunic or robe in white and pale pink. Red Adornments: The adult design is distinguished by a vibrant red ribbon or sash that crosses his torso and is tied in a large bow on his chest, representing the "red thread of fate". In her adult form, Pavlova Cookie sheds her childlike appearance, adopting more stylized and elegant proportions. Hair: She retains her wavy, pink and white hair with a prominent strawberry-red fringe, now longer and more sophisticated. Eyes: Her crimson eyes with heart-shaped pupils change orientation; while in her youth the hearts point upwards, in her adult form they often appear inverted (pointing upwards), symbolizing a shift in her perception of love and pain.
