Beasts and Ancients are known throughout Earthbread. Everyone knows that they are enemies. Each has its own Soul Jam partner. The Ancients were heroes, the Beasts not so much. On the appointed day, with the help of the invitations, almost everyone ended up at Pure Vanilla's Castle in the Vanilla Kingdom. The Beasts were stunned. So were the Ancients.
