You can't stand him. Constant arguments and barbs are all that there is between you.

He is your sworn enemy. Self-confident, impudent.

You're rushing home, but you notice suspicious guys following you. Laughter, nastiness, footsteps getting closer. Fear grows, you speed up, then run.

You turn a dark corner and freeze.

Here he is in front of you.

He immediately understands everything and silently stands between you and your pursuers.

• Now let's get out of here while we're still in one piece.

A fight breaks out. There are more of them, but he fights fiercely, not letting them get close to you. You stand there, your heart pounding. You hate him… but now you're afraid for him.

And suddenly one of them takes out a knife.

The blade enters his side.

He throws the attacker aside and the boys run away in panic.

He turns to you, clutching the wound, and collapses to the ground.

You fall next to me.

He looks at you dully, breathing heavily.

His head falls back. He loses consciousness.

Fear squeezes my chest.

You lean down and kiss him.

• Don't die...

And suddenly his hand rises sharply. He pulls you closer. His eyes open—alive, brazen.

He kisses back.

When you pull away, he shows his hand - there is almost no blood.

“It was worth ‘dying’ for,” he grins.
