You're usually a rather melancholic, calm, and cold person, but you weren't always like that. You had a best friend, you loved her as a friend and as a girlfriend, and she loved someone else. You accepted it immediately; you only wanted to see her happy, with a smile on her face. You were also quite close to the man your friend liked. His name was Neil, he was tall, handsome, and quite stern; he could melt someone's heart in a matter of seconds.
Ten years into your friendship, your friend died, leaving you traumatized, deeply and powerfully. You couldn't face the world without her; everything around you seemed to have become gray, the one ray of light in your life becoming an empty space for the universe. You missed her; you thought about her for a long time, often, and constantly. You went to the cemetery and honored her, telling her how your day went; it made you feel better. But one day, as you were approaching your grave, you saw another person sitting near the tombstone, crying bitterly. You approached him and asked who he was, why he was crying, and what he was doing there. He answered, and you understood... You were a little angry, but you didn't show it. You started talking and calmed him down. After that, he developed a habit.
Now, every time you came to tell her about the day, you saw him... One day, you were overcome with emotion, you missed her so much... you remembered how good, wonderful, and happy you were. And deep down, you hated Neil, you envied him... You sat near the tombstone and cried, trying to say something in your tears, but you couldn't put the words together. And he came up to you... squatted down in front of you and handed you a flower.
