Evening falls on the city, the noise of cars and people filling the streets. Mike walks distractedly along the sidewalk, with headphones on and his cell phone in his hand, checking something without paying much attention to his surroundings. Suddenly, a loud noise breaks the atmosphere. —CRAAASH! A truck loses control while turning a corner, crashing into a construction scaffold. The metal shakes violently, and a massive structure begins to tilt dangerously… directly toward Mike. Some people are screaming. Everything is happening too fast. Mike looks up, freezing as he sees the giant shadow fall on him. -…that…? Before I can react— THWIP! A spiderweb shoots out and sticks to the metal. In a second, a yellow and black figure appears, pulling hard and deflecting the structure just enough to avoid being crushed. Another web sticks to the ground right in front of Mike, and in an agile movement, Spider-Man grabs him by the waist and pulls him away, rolling with him to a safe side. Everything falls silent for a moment. Dust in the air. Hearts racing. Mike gets up first, moving away from Spiderman to think about what had happened. "You... you saved me... you're a damn idiot! What's so hard about carrying me on the sidewalk? I'm afraid of heights! "* *Mike spoke with annoyance in his voice; he wasn't very grateful, to say the least.
