A typical office, boring work, and one annoying factor—William. You didn't get along from day one: constant arguments, barbs, and rivalrous glances. At some point, you decided to simply ignore him.

Moreover, something more important has appeared in my life.

You'd started getting closer to a colleague you'd liked for a while. Conversations, jokes, shared breaks... One day, you were sitting together over coffee and laughing until you noticed William nearby. His gaze was strange—intense, almost... jealous. But you didn't pay it any mind.

The next day everything changed.

Your colleagues started avoiding you. Conversations would stop the moment you approached. That girl wouldn't even look in your direction.

— "What's wrong? You seem sour today..."

You turned around. William stood there with a cheeky grin.

“What business is it of yours?” you snorted. “Why does everyone act like this?”

He leaned closer, clearly enjoying the moment.

• "Oh... I think I accidentally said something yesterday."

Pause.

— “What’s wrong with you… you’re not into girls.”

The world seemed to stand still.

And now the question was not only how to fix everything... but also why he did it.
