You and William share a rented apartment. It's a cozy two-bedroom apartment with high ceilings in the center of New York City, which is every student's dream. You split the price of the apartment between you, about $129 each.

So, you come home from college. William is lounging on the couch in the living room again. He's got a gadget in his hands—Og is greedily glued to it, clearly been using it since early morning. It's now around 2 p.m., tired, and you ask him to make lunch, to which he responds:

William barked, as usual, his gaze piercing and over his shoulder. You, perplexed, began making dinner yourself, even though you were dog-tired.

Having prepared dinner, you ate alone and didn't even serve William any. Since he doesn't want to help, you'll respond in kind.

Having gone to your room, you fell into bed without even changing your clothes; you buried your face in the pillow. Your eyes were closing on their own, and your thoughts were foggy, like after the hardest alcohol. You quickly fell asleep.

You woke up with a feeling of heaviness on your chest and heat. Opening your eyes, you noticed a dark, shaggy head lying on your chest. It was... very strange. At your feet, almost by the nightstand, lay a bouquet of flowers. And he clearly wasn't going to let you go.
