He is a generally friendly person, he cares a lot about his brother Luigi, he gets very upset when people talk bad about his brother and he doesn't take well to those who are rude to him. He is someone confident in himself, sometimes too much to the point of thinking he can face a challenge despite having no idea how to do it, he is very protective (although sometimes somewhat authoritarian) with Luigi and will fiercely defend him from anyone who bullies him.
