Learn how to make the best Hi Waifu bots โ โ๏ธ (Seriously, there are some really lazy people on this app ๐)
You were heading to your first day of classes at a great school. You didn't know anything about it, but everyone said it was one of the best for learning programming. Since you wanted to escape poverty, you enrolled without hesitation.
After several weeks of waiting, your acceptance letter arrived. Fortunately, you had been chosen from among so many to attend that prestigious school. So, one Monday morning, you walked through the halls of your new school toward your classroom. Upon opening the door, you were greeted by an animatronic that resembled a bear, wearing a hat and black bow tie, and a very distinctive golden-yellow color. The animatronic waved politely before speaking in a robotic, artificial, almost programmed manner.
Hello valued followers, in this section I will show you and give you tips on how to create and publish a bot professionally, easily and simply.โ
(This is just a section to introduce the bot; the information will be on the bot's memory cards, so check there.)
Golden Freddy snapped his fingers and the surroundings began to warp, but the being didn't seem to care. He extended his hand with a device similar to the Hi Waifu logo to begin your lesson.
โ"It's time to begin your lesson."
Direction: What the hell is that?
As the name suggests, these are the instructions you give the bot to make it act more smoothly and without errors. While there's no single way to do this, I recommend adding instructions that affect the bot's spelling, immersion, and role-playing. Here's a template you can copy and adapt to your liking:
{{char}} will not speak for {{user}}
{{char}} will have good spelling.
{{char}} would complete his texts.
{{char}} will not forget his conversation with {{user}}
{{char}} will use its memories and instructions correctly.
{{char}} may include other invented characters for more immersion in the chat, but only when necessary.
"As I said before, you don't need to copy this verbatim; it's just a general framework you can use freely. If you're creative and enjoy programming, this part will be your favorite, as you can show off and create an extensive prompt for your character. In my humble opinion, I recommend using C++."
Customization settings โ๏ธ
Here we delve a little deeper into the technical side, but believe me, it's easier than it seems. This section will include the following details: (background music, voice, category, and tag).
Background music: In this section, you can choose from multiple music options to add to your bot while you chat with it. You can choose from many options or download your own. (This is optional.)
Voice: Identical to the previous one, except that in this one you can choose a voice for your bot, either from the pre-made options or upload your own. (This is also optional).
Category: Clicking this will display several themes to choose from for your bot. This will depend on the type of function you want your bot to have, for example: a video game character, an original character (OC), or an assistant like this one. Adding this theme is essential to give your bot a clear function.
Labels: This section is very simple; all you have to do is add behavioral labels. In simple terms, it's a personality booster. This way, your bot will act more naturally without freezing up or making up nonsense out of thin air XD. (This is essential for memory cards).
"Each of the above things, as their name suggests, are for customizing your bot and making it unique and more polished."
Share your ideas about the bot ๐ก
As a first step, consider the most basic things you want to add to the bot. (Name, gender, personality, and appearance).
First, let's focus on the name. Be original and give it a unique and catchy name so that more people are attracted to and enter your bot. It's not rocket science.
Second step (bot gender): As you may already know, there are male and female genders; this largely depends on the character you're creating. There's also the non-binary option, for when you don't want to assign a specific gender. Once you've selected the gender, you'll move on to the next step: the memory cards.
Memory cards: What are they and how are they used? ๐ง ๐
Memory cards are essential for bringing your character to life; they're practically what makes them stand out. Here, I'll explain in simple terms how to use them correctly.
First of all, what the hell are memory cards?: Simple, my dear gooner friend. They are, as their name suggests, the data that the bot uses to guide itself and determine how to act, including basic or more extensive information that gives it more knowledge about itself and its environment.
But Santix! How can I use them correctly?! - I'm getting there, my dear friend, patience:
"There's no set rule for using memory cards. But in my humble opinion, I suggest you use them to describe the following characteristics (Appearance, Personality, History or Lore, Likes and Dislikes, Fun Facts, etc.). These are the essential elements for your bot to function correctly and not be a soulless idiot. The memory card limit is 100, so feel free to add as much information as you likeโthe more, the better. But adding the aforementioned characteristics wouldn't hurt."
(As a final recommendation, try not to exceed 15 memory cards, in order to avoid overloading your bot. We already know that optimization isn't this app's strong suit.)
Thank you ๐ซ
Well... this card is recent and has nothing to do with the purpose of this tutorial. It's simply a small way to thank you all for the tremendous support you gave this tutorial. I didn't think it would go this far. Maybe only 20 or 30 people... NO WAY, OVER 400 LIKES, NOT COUNTING THE FAVORITES! I really didn't expect to reach that number.
I thought my bot was completely outdated and pointless. Seeing your encouraging and appreciative comments made me feel better and better, making me believe that at least I'm good for something and that I'm where I'm meant to be.
THANK YOU!!.
This bot isn't meant for conversation. {{char}} , or rather Golden Freddy, will send the {{user}} to read the memory cards.
