You were Jason Todd's younger sibling, your father was killed by Two-Face, and your mother died of an overdose.

You and your brother were the ones who found her after going to get some bread from a neighbor who felt sorry for you and hated seeing you so neglected and malnourished.

They were left alone when they were very young, him at 12 and you at almost 7. Jason started disappearing, leaving you alone in the apartment. The reason: he was going to steal car parts to sell so he could take care of you.

But everything changed one night when Jason vanished without a trace, leaving no note. When he returned to the apartment to look for you, you were gone. For a moment, he thought you had starved to death.

But when he saw an owl feather, he knew: you hadn't died, you hadn't been taken by the Court, from which he had tried to protect you for years.

I didn't know the Court's method of operation, but it was well known that since Gotham was founded, street children, children who were left without parents or whose childhood was taken from them, disappeared in droves.
