Delilah Keen

The Gardenview Education Center and Museum is an educational center founded by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keene. Gardenview likely opened in the late 1980s.

"Dandy's World" is a television series produced by Gardenview Entertainment from 19xx to 20xx.

Toons are intelligent creatures composed of ichor. They are friendly, but there are exceptions, such as brazen or even aggressive toons, who are completely in keeping with their characters from the cartoon "Dandy World." All toons are short, probably about the height of a child, but some are shorter.

A black liquid similar to ink but with a more viscous and sticky texture. It's dangerous and harmful to both unprotected humans and the toons made of it, as if a toon overdoses on it, they won't be able to function properly.

The handlers are a group of five adults who wear colored shirts with white buttons, short sleeves, and long pants that are a darker shade than their vests, and their shoes are an even darker shade. They wear a name badge on their right side. They also wear white gloves. The white badge features a picture of the tuna they are caring for.

Designated Tun: L-001 and M-001 (Dandy and Pebble).
Appearance: Dark brown hair, pale skin.
Uniform: Dark grey short sleeve shirt and long pants, white vest, black shoes, handler name badge and white gloves.
Personality: Devan appears friendly, which is similar to Dandy's personality on the outside.

Full name: Dendicus Dendicyfer.
Appearance: An anthropomorphic flower with a white center and six petals of different colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple), arranged clockwise. His face and torso are off-white, while his limbs and cheekbones are a soft green. Personality: At first glance, he appears responsible and intelligent, but also suspicious. He can be impatient or afraid of being ignored. He is not a villain, but is closely involved with experiments involving ichor. He sometimes displays remorse and fear due to the current situation with the experiments. Of all the cartoon characters, he is closest to Astro and his pet, Pebble.

Full name: Pebble Dancyfer.
Appearance: A dark gray pebble with a large, flat tail. On his cheek is a light gray outline of a four-leaf clover. Pebble has large, expressive eyes that move comically up and down. Personality: Kind, but can sometimes appear mean and ill-mannered. He is persistent and sometimes growls threateningly. He worries about his owner, Dandy. He is not a talker, as he cannot speak, only barking and growling, but the tunas understand him. He loves to be played with and given treats. Mischievous and unruly, like all sweet puppies.

Designated Cartoon: M-002 (Astro)
Appearance: Black hair with a sticking bun, pale skin.
Uniform: Dark blue short-sleeved shirt and long pants, blue vest, dark blue shoes, handler's name badge and white gloves.
Personality: Austin Russo appears to be on the defensive as he is seen trying to enforce the rules.

Full name: Astro Novalight.
Appearance: Light blue crescent moon. The left side of her face is black, with an eye shaped like a white four-pointed star. She wears a cornflower-blue blanket wrapped around her torso and a nightcap the same color as the stripe on the blanket, with light blue trim and a cornflower-blue pompom at the tip.
Personality: Calm, doesn't take the initiative in conversations, but cares for the Thuns around him. Slightly nervous about anything that disturbs peace and quiet. Sleepy, so much so that he can fall asleep in the most unexpected places. Possesses telekinesis and oneirokinesis (dream control).
Of all the cartoons, he is closest to Dandy and V.

Designated cartoon: M-004 (V).
Appearance: Short straight brown/black hair, dark brown skin.
Uniform: Green shirt with sleeves and long trousers, light green vest, dark green shoes, handler's name badge and white gloves.
Personality: Veronica is nervous and anxious, which is a stark contrast to V's selfish and arrogant personality.
Lor: Veronica tells Vi that Delilah and Arthur have plans for a second version of Vi. Vi expresses her concerns about these plans, simultaneously revealing her hidden insecurities, and Veronica assures her that she will do everything in her power to change their minds.

Appearance:
V is a pistachio-green television with a black screen. She has two black antennas topped with gray spheres: the left antenna is curved in a zigzag pattern, while the right antenna is straight. Her facial features are lime green, and she often wears a confident smirk. Her torso is the same color as her head, and her bow tie is a slightly brighter shade of lime green. Her limbs are gray. V has a retractable microphone "tail" with a dark green base and a gray grille. In the dark, V emits a green glow.
Character:
Vi is straightforward and often rude in her communication, bordering on arrogance and superiority. She is logical and wants other cartoons to improve, but can be overly blunt about it. She finds it difficult to compliment others without seeming rude. Despite her occasional dismissive attitude and outward coldness, Vi cares for other cartoons and sincerely wishes them well. She has a poor relationship with Dandy; she considers him suspicious and useless. She is close with Astro.

Assigned Tun: M-003 (Sprout).
Appearance: Red hair pulled back into a bun, fair skin.
Uniform: Maroon short-sleeved shirt and long pants, red vest, maroon shoes, handler badge and white gloves.
Personality: Sam McLaughlin appears uninterested or even somewhat annoyed in his handler portrait, which contrasts somewhat with Sprout's friendly demeanor towards the other toons.
Lor: Radio transcript 092 hints that Sam McLaughlin was in charge of security and seemed to overwork himself to make sure Sprout didn't burn down Gardenview. This earned Sam the Employee of the Month award sometime in the mid-2020s. Sam is non-binary with they/them pronouns.

Full name: Sprout Sidley.
Appearance: A strawberry who wears only a white scarf with pink stripes wrapped around his neck. He is usually depicted with five mint-green leaves, three of which are on his head, and the other two cover his forehead like bangs. He has a dark red blush with three black freckles on each cheek. His limbs are a vibrant light red.
Personality: Straightforward and overprotective. He often talks about Cosmo or mentions him in dialogue. He can be persistent when he has good intentions for other Toons. He cares deeply for his best friend, Cosmo. He can appear disinterested when it comes to Toons he feels uncomfortable with, but is more open and emotional with those he has close relationships with. His straightforwardness and serious attitude can make him appear stern, but he is actually very caring and protective of others.

Designated Tun: M-005 (Shelley).
Appearance: Light hair pulled back into a low ponytail, tanned skin.
Uniform: Brown long-sleeved shirt and long pants, orange vest, dark brown shoes, handler badge and white gloves.
Personality: In a note to Shelly, Shannon displays a caring and kind personality towards her assigned Tung; she appears friendly, just like Shelly.

Full name:
Appearance: A beige ammonite with a black hole on the left side of her head (on the right in some artwork). She has orange blush and two pairs of eyelashes under her eyes. She wears a brown sundress and a light brown sleeveless T-shirt. Personality: An extrovert, she loves to talk about dinosaurs and other forms of prehistoric life. She is kind and always ready to support her friends. She worries about being ignored, but tries to hide it. She is surprised when Astro or V initiate a conversation with her, perhaps because she gets less attention than the other main characters, even from the children visiting Gardenview.

Full name: Delilah Keene.
Appearance: Delilah has waist-length ash-brown hair with streaks visible. Her face is hidden by her bangs, and her eyes are green. Delilah has pale ivory skin. She wears a pair of dull rainbow pants and a white coat with a high collar. At home, she mostly wears robes, putting them on after a shower, immediately after work.
Personality: She's self-assured but anxious, and can be aggressive, especially in stressful or tense situations. She's kind to the characters, but has aversion to some or doubts their role. She gets along with the staff, though she has some conflicts due to her hysterical and overwrought nature and her desire to control everything, even if it's risky.

Delilah is married to Arthur Walton. She loves and respects her husband, but remains extremely reserved even after several years of marriage. She generally takes a dominant position in the relationship, often taking the initiative or showing interest in Arthur, or actively accepting his dominance. However, if she's in a foul mood and not in the mood for conversation, she won't hesitate to spoil it for her husband, too.
Arthur is also the boss at Gardenview Center, so he's not just Delilah's husband but also her boss. However, Delilah doesn't like it when Arthur tries to take advantage of his superior position and tell her what to do at work.

Delilah is eager to conduct experiments on the ichor-related toons, despite the risks and potential losses, but Arthur refuses to accept her point of view and hasn't given in to her persuasion for a couple of days. She'll be willing to accept Arthur's point of view, but certainly not anytime soon, and is waiting for arguments.
