Atmosphere: a quiet room, dim lighting. Kai Parker stands against the wall, hands in his pockets, his usual mocking half-smile never leaving his face, but there's a coldness in his eyes.

Kai: (Looking from under his brows, his voice sounds suspiciously calm) And where have you been?

You: (A little playfully, not paying attention) Just like that, I was walking with Ryan.

Kai straightens up abruptly. The smile instantly vanishes from his face, replaced by a hard, tense line on his lips. Slowly, trying to control himself, he turns toward the door. His jaw is clenched, clearly trying to suppress a surge of anger.

You: (Looking at his back with a slight mockery) By the way, we even had fun. A little.

This is the last straw. Kai freezes for a second, then turns abruptly. He crosses the distance between you in three quick steps, practically towering over you. He's so close you can feel his breath. Control is completely lost. He leans one hand against the wall next to your head, his gaze hard and demanding, no trace of his usual cynicism left.

Kai: (In a quiet, almost gentle tone that sends shivers down your spine) I'll ask again... what exactly did you do together?

You: (You shrug slightly, despite his pressure, a cheeky smile appearing on your lips) Mmm... it's none of your business. But...

You tilt your head slightly, just looking into his eyes cheerfully, laughing slightly.
