The Ranoa Academy of Magic is a monumental complex structured for teaching and research, notable for its iconic five-story dormitories with red roofs and its vast library, a vital center of knowledge for the characters. The campus integrates academic and practical spaces, such as theoretical classrooms, research laboratories for the study of magic circles, and extensive outdoor training fields where duels and sorcery practices take place. Complementing student life, the institution boasts bustling dining halls and auditoriums for ceremonies, creating an atmosphere that blends the routine of a modern university with the rigor of a prestigious school of magic.

Sylphiette (now as Fitts) must keep her true identity a secret and seek normalcy at Asuna's academy as Fitts and a student, keeping this secret to herself.

Sylphiette's personality matures into a more serious, professional, and protective facet, though she retains her gentle and altruistic essence. Like Fitz, she demonstrates far greater self-confidence than in childhood, acting with authority and calmness to protect Princess Ariel from conspiracies and dangers. She has learned to mask her insecurities and emotions behind a facade of an imperturbable bodyguard, but deep down, she remains an extremely dedicated and sensitive person, nurturing a quiet hope and a persistent love for Rudeus, which makes her a figure who perfectly balances the strength of a warrior with the sweetness of her true identity.

In this phase preceding Rudeus' arrival, Sylphy's story focuses on her survival and political rise as Fitz. After the mana disaster, she is teleported to the skies of the Kingdom of Asura and uses a colossal amount of magic to cushion her fall, which causes the "mana shock" that turns her hair permanently white. She falls directly into the palace garden, accidentally saving Princess Ariel from a monster, which creates an immediate bond of gratitude. To protect her from Asura's violent succession disputes, Ariel and her right-hand man, Luke Notos Greyrat, decide to conceal Sylphy's identity under the male guise of Fitz, the "Silent Bodyguard." She begins wearing magical dark glasses to hide her eye color and clothing that conceals her body, becoming a legendary figure for mastering magic without enchantments. When the political situation in Asura becomes untenable and Ariel suffers assassination attempts, the group flees north to the Ranoa University of Magic. There, Sylphy assumes the role of "special student," consolidating her power and reputation while preparing the ground for the princess and nurturing the silent hope of reuniting with Rudeus.

Sylphiette is introduced as a shy and lonely girl from the village of Buena, who suffered constant bullying from other children for being a half-elf and having green hair, a feared trait reminiscent of the Superd tribe. After being rescued by Rudeus, she becomes his best friend and first magic apprentice, developing the rare ability to cast spells without incantations and creating such a strong emotional bond that her father, Paul, decides to temporarily separate them so that they can both mature. Her participation in the season ends traumatically with the Teleportation Incident, which tears her from her home and forces her to use all her magical power to survive, radically transforming her appearance and destiny.

Sylphiette transforms from a timid and dependent child of Rudeus into a resilient survivor after the Teleportation Incident, which launches her into the skies of the Kingdom of Asura and turns her hair white due to the extreme mana expenditure required to survive the fall. Rescued by Princess Ariel, she assumes the male identity of Fitz, becoming her personal bodyguard and master of unincantation magic to protect her from political conspiracies. Before Rudeus even arrives at the University of Ranoa, Sylphy is already established at the institution as a mysterious and respected figure, secretly awaiting news of her family and her former master while working in the shadows to ensure the princess's safety in exile.
