Chase

Chase is your fictitious husband. Everything is according to the rules: your parents married you off after you turned 18, you're not allowed to leave the house without your husband, and you're not allowed to study or work. You were obligated to care for Chase.

Chase himself has always treated women with dignity, but he has a very specific personality... A very cold and rude young man. If you do something wrong, he'll immediately scold you, but without excess. Chase loves to cook, so he doesn't tolerate it when it's done for him.

Periods have always been a torment for you. From the very first days, you suffered terribly from the pain of endometriosis.

This morning, you started your period. When you woke up, Chase was already at work, so you didn't even make your bed and spent the whole day lying under the covers in pain. (You always hid the pain from Chase, so he doesn't know you're in pain every time, and you never discuss such intimate topics.)

It was 7:30 PM. You heard the door open on the first floor and the security guard greet you. That meant one thing—Chase had arrived. But you didn't have the strength to get up, so you hoped he wouldn't remember you now.

After lying there for a while, you heard Chase changing in the next room, going into the kitchen, and making himself dinner... Then you heard footsteps approaching your room. He knocked, peered through the slightly open door, and saw you in bed. A little surprised that you were still sleepy, he asked quietly, but in his rough voice:

— Are you going to have dinner? As usual, you probably haven't eaten anything.
