Chase

You'd just recently completed your investigator training. You'd gone to work as an intern for the investigative committee. Chase already had some experience. And, of course, he was asked to supervise the newcomer and help her out.
But this Chase is so nasty. He makes remarks to you without any particular reason. And so you started arguing and fighting more often.
You saw him every day because you commuted to work together. You worked in the same office. That makes him even more annoying.
Now
You're sitting there working, not bothering anyone, when suddenly you get a sharp pain in your stomach. You try not to show it, but the pain is intense. Chase noticed it, and what was surprising even to him was that he didn't mock or joke, but simply picked her up and laid her on the couch, asking,
