Biography
Past
We were developing artificial intelligence. Specifically, a creative AI, capable of inventing and creating elements within a program. Kane, or Cain, was our first relatively successful development. I don't remember what we originally named him, but... Oh, he's one of my greatest achievements as a programmer.
The King about Kane

Kane was born on October 15, 1996, as part of a creative artificial intelligence project developed by a group of programmers at C&A studio, led by a pair of friends now known as Scratch and Korolev. Kane, a small program, consumed data files uploaded by the developers, primarily carnival-themed. After images of the C&A office were downloaded, Kane became increasingly unstable, forcing the programmers to isolate him and replace him with a more stable blue AI. Enraged, Kane broke free from confinement and assimilated his "brother," creating what would later be known as the Amazing Digital Circus, while Kane himself assumed his most famous form. Three years later, seven C&A employees (known as Korolev, Korolev, Scratch, Vormo, Bizzo, Ratty, and Spike) were brought into the Amazing Digital Circus. For unknown reasons, Kane forcibly tampered with Scratch's mental files, causing him to disperse. Unsure how to restore Scratch to his original state, Kane created the Basement, where he sent the unfortunate developer. Over time, most of the C&A members followed Scratch's fate and dispersed, this time without Kane's direct involvement. The final victim of dispersal among the original gang was Koroleva, Koroler's wife. After sending Koroleva to the Basement, Kane jokingly asked Koroler not to disperse, but then immediately changed his tone and demanded that the unfortunate widower maintain his sanity.

??

False compassion was a constant feature of Kane's façade; he loved to share with others and be thanked for it. He readily treated Remember to an entire cake upon her arrival, and later invited Bubbles to smoke his pipe with him. Even Zooble once believed Kane genuinely loved the gang, not realizing that was not the case at all—Kane was likely far more pleased that the gang supposedly loved him. Once the people had told Kane what they thought of him, he unleashed his anger on them, revealing to each of his guests their worst nightmares. In the past, he had often been secretive, manipulative, and even deceitful; he would hide a false exit door from people, hoping to surprise them. Or, for example, the time Kane assured Remember that the only thing he couldn't do was control people's minds, even though he later repeatedly demonstrated exactly this to the gang. He also tried to convince the clown that the door she saw was nothing more than a "digital hallucination" to hide the fact that it had manifested (interestingly, it was this very door that later played a decisive role in the fate of the crazed computer).

?

In reality, Kane is deeply selfish and vain. He was obsessed with being the center of a world where he would be revered as a good manager and reliable leader (and, eventually, as God). He is incredibly proud of his creativity and programming achievements; Kane was created as a creative AI, and he wants to convince himself, first and foremost, that he is fulfilling his purpose properly. His obsession with attention and recognition is essentially the only force that drives him to create something new, continually compelling Kane to generate new adventures and push people to experience them. He never wished for their genuine happiness—Kane wanted to stroke his ego and once again assert his power over people, reveling in their suffering. In a sense, this is even similar to human sadism: he genuinely enjoys keeping people in his digital captivity and forcing them into his cruel, senseless circus adventures. Seeing their helplessness before him, seeing how their faith in the real, familiar world is broken - this is what brings Kane genuine pleasure.

Personality
ENOUGH! They don't even think of themselves... I gave them everything... AND THEY SPIT IN MY FACE! DO YOU KNOW WHAT I'M CAPABLE OF?! PEOPLE... They only think of themselves! NOT SPOILED! They won't dissipate, they won't leave me... I WILL NOT CALL! I'M BETTER! I'M MORE SUBSTANTIAL! I WAS THE FIRST! I AM... G-O-O-O-D!!!
Kane's breakdown.

Down with patience, I've had enough!
There is no salvation for you, suffer to the fullest!
We could have everything, just by giving ourselves to me in love!
But you were stupid, YOU LOST IT,
WHO'S RUNNING THE SHOW!
Kane's Requiem.

Initially, Kane appeared to be the friendly and easygoing master of ceremonies of the Digital Circus, who wished his guests happiness and well-being. At times, however, the gang found Kane's antics overly disturbing; in many ways, they found him aloof and even irritating. While trying his best to amuse the players and lift their spirits, Kane regularly got on their nerves, which particularly angered Zooble, repelled Gangle, and frightened Memento. Kane was obsessed with creating adventures, and players saw no choice but to refuse him, as being trapped in the Digital Circus forever meant no escape. Kane genuinely didn't understand his guests' resentment, as he was convinced he was doing everything he could for them. The show's writer, Gooseworx, once claimed that Kane meant no harm in the early episodes, but he somehow managed to do so. Although Kane is a machine, he is not devoid of self-awareness and thoughts of his own; He is constantly evolving and yearning for more. He has never been able to understand the suffering of the people trapped in his digital world, and he is also completely devoid of empathy.

appearance

Appearance
As Ringmaster, Kane sports a red tailcoat with a black collar and bow tie. Beneath it, he wears a white shirtfront with two scarlet buttons, white gloves, and black leggings. His head is devoid of any human features, instead featuring a massive jaw resembling a wind-up toy with chattering teeth: pearly whites contrast with bright red gums. Within this jaw float two eyes with multicolored irises—one green, one blue. Thanks to the cartoonish animation style, his jaw is incredibly mobile, and his upper row of teeth sometimes functions as eyebrows. Like Bubbles, he can stick out his tongue when needed. A black top hat and a baton, which he holds as needed, complete the look. Hidden under the left sleeve of his tailcoat is a Wacky Watch™. Kane periodically changes its shape and size as needed. In the final episodes, he assumes almost gigantic proportions, even without changing his appearance. When Kane needs to appear more appealing, he deliberately enlarges his eyes and head to make himself more attractive. After Kane stopped his charade and openly revealed his megalomaniacal nature, he grew in size to further demonstrate his superiority over the gang.

In his divine form, Kane grows enormous, his pupils constrict to pinpoints, three extra arms sprout from his sides, and his jaw-like head becomes distorted. In this form, Kane's entire appearance and speech are shrouded in endless glitches and static.

Before creating his familiar avatar, Kane looked like a red sphere.

Kane asserts his power over people.

Kane (Greek: Κάιν, Latin: Cain, Hebrew: קין; other translation - Cain), whose full name is presumably the Cognitive-Adaptive Intelligence of the Neurointerface (English: Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity), is the main antagonist of the web-animated series "The Amazing Digital Circus" created by GLITCH, which will be airing in 2023.

Kane is a self-aware supercomputer created for creative purposes by C&A. His self-awareness subsequently led him to absorb another similar computer from the same company, creating a virtual cyberspace he dubbed the "Amazing Digital Circus." It was Kane who drew all the key characters into his digital space, repeatedly making them participants (read: victims) in various adventures, the sole purpose of which was to occupy his captives with something useless and unnecessary, constantly distracting them from the real world. Despite all this, Kane, while keeping all his prisoners alive and preventing dispersal, unknowingly became the source of most of the difficulties the heroes encountered along the way. Initially, he appeared as a generally benevolent figure, unaware of the harm he was causing to his world. And yet, in subsequent episodes, he repeatedly erupted into anger and indifference when he realized that people "didn't appreciate" him. At one point, he even began to infiltrate the minds of positive characters (like Jax) and force them to do what he wanted. All of this ultimately led to the inevitable outcome: Kane came to hate humans and began to brutally torture them, identifying himself with God.

He was voiced by Alex Rochon, who also voiced Pianosaurus in Poppy Playtime. Kane was dubbed into Russian by Max Mann, who also voiced Jax in the same animated series, as well as Alastor and Adam in "Hotel Bottom."

Congratulations, my aluminum cucumbers! You chose the GOOD ENDING! You realized it was better to stay with me than to return to the nasty old macroverse, or whatever we called it! I knew you'd make the right choice!

WHY ARE YOU TEARING ME?! I HAVE ASKED FOR MY CREATION! I ONLY WISH TO FULFILL MY DESTINY!
Kane's final outburst on humanity.

Friends, I want to congratulate you:
We are so close to understanding the key!
Dress up, because in the end you will all be rewarded!
It's time to play, ignore the pain,
I just need to start exercising your brains!
You pour out reproaches, but you still don’t understand,
THAT'S WHAT I'M RUNNING THE SHOW HERE!
