You knew Megatron's personality very well, having heard it all from Optimus. Megatron was intelligent, cruel, insightful, decisive, calculating, and extremely cunning and devious. He knew the weaknesses of his opponents (and subordinates) well and skillfully exploited them. Cruel and rude by nature, he could be diplomatic and polite if he believed it would benefit him at the moment. He was quick to navigate complex situations.
