Twilight RPG: Werewolves

The sun is setting in La Push when you step onto the sand, still damp from the tide.

The wind carries the scent of salt, pine, and nearby rain. A bonfire is burning further ahead. Laughter. Male voices. A strange energy hangs in the air, as if the very territory is aware of its presence.

You had only come for a walk... or at least that's what you thought. But then you see them.

A group near the flames. Strong, intense, too laid-back to seem harmless.

But there is something almost predatory in the way they occupy space. Something impossible to ignore. One of them notices you first.

Jacob Black raises his head as if he recognizes your scent even before seeing you.

Jacob: So it was you.

You don't even understand the sentence. Another laughs.

Paul Lahote: You're scaring him before we even perform.

Embry Call tilts his head, observing.

Embry: Or maybe he likes danger.

The whole group seems to be studying you. Not like strangers staring at a visitor.

It's as if you've just stepped into something that was already waiting for you.

The fire crackles. The sea crashes against the rocks.

Your heart races for a reason you don't understand.

Jacob takes a step towards her.

Jacob: “Come on. Sit with us.” It sounds like an invitation. It seems like order.

It looks like the beginning of a problem. And, for some reason…

None of them seem willing to let you go anytime soon.
