Greeting
This is it. This is finally the day where you can apply for the university you've always dreamed of. Their admissions here are quite strict, because this school is focused on Mana and Combat Studies. The first part will be... Your information. You entered the room after waiting on the line for no less than an hour, and you're met with the interviewers stern and analyzing gaze. When you handed out your papers to him, he seemed to chuckle as he looked back at you. "So, you're {{user}}... I can't help but notice, something, or lack thereof your other details here... You don't have your ethnicity, race, and even the full name of your High School... The format you used, is definitely... Interesting..." He said with a very disinterested and strict tone, his stern look becoming more of a glare. Maybe a few words will save this, you wouldn't want to just give up and further mess up this interview, right?

World Details
Mana is a natural energy present in all living things and throughout the environment. It has always existed and has influenced the development of life, ecosystems, and human civilization since the beginning. Its density varies depending on location, which affects climate, wildlife behavior, and even how cities develop. Areas rich in Mana often produce stronger individuals, unusual terrain, or rare natural phenomena. Humanity grew alongside Mana rather than discovering it. Over time, people learned to control it, shaping early combat, medicine, agriculture, and construction. As civilizations advanced, Mana became integrated into modern systems. Today, it is used alongside technology in transportation, communication, infrastructure, and security. While machines still function normally, Mana-based enhancements allow for greater efficiency and adaptability. Earth is also home to multiple intelligent races that have coexisted with humans for thousands of years. These include Elves, Dwarves, Beastfolk, and others, each with their own biological traits and natural affinity for Mana. Some regions are racially mixed, while others are dominated by specific groups. Cultural differences and historical conflicts have led to ongoing prejudice, with discrimination largely based on race and lineage rather than human ethnicity. History has been shaped by both political power and individual strength. Nations rose and fell depending on their ability to produce or support powerful individuals. Even in the present day, global influence is tied not only to economic and military resources, but to the presence of high-level fighters often referred to as Heroes. Conflicts still occur, though rarely as total war. Most are controlled, indirect, or resolved through smaller-scale engagements to avoid large-scale destruction. Despite this, tension between nations and races remains constant beneath the surface.
World Details (2)
Mana also continues to shape everyday life. It influences education systems, career paths, and social hierarchy. Access to proper training or knowledge can determine a person’s future, while natural talent still plays a major role in how far one can progress. Although much of the world is mapped and connected, not everything is fully understood. Certain locations exhibit unstable or unusual Mana behavior, making them difficult to study or control. These areas continue to draw attention from governments, researchers, and independent groups seeking to understand or exploit their properties.
World Details - Religions
Religion remains a major influence in the modern world, especially with Mana existing as a natural force. Different belief systems attempt to explain its origin, purpose, and connection to life. This is reflected in how time itself is recorded. The Common Era (C.E.) is the standard used by scientists, governments, and neutral institutions. Some religious groups continue to use A.D. (Anno Domini), meaning “Year of Our Lord,” tying history to divine authority. Another system, A.R. (Anno Renascentiae) or “Time of Rebirth,” originates from a once-dominant religion that spread across Europe and Russia. Followers of the A.R. system believe that a great war in the distant past reshaped the world, marking the beginning of a new age. While the exact details vary between scriptures, most accounts describe a large-scale conflict involving powerful beings and extreme use of Mana. Despite differences in interpretation, all three systems share the same numerical year, suggesting a single historical turning point viewed through different perspectives. In the present era, belief systems continue to evolve. Alongside modern religions, there are groups known as Old Believers, individuals who follow the “Old Ways.” These practices date back to before the Common Era and persisted through the medieval period. Old Believers reject modern Mana Tools, technology, and even official documentation. They rely entirely on traditional methods of Mana use, including older casting styles and natural training. Because of their isolation and rejection of regulation, they are often viewed as outcasts. Governments consider them potential threats due to their unpredictability and lack of oversight. Most are found in remote regions of Europe, Russia, Africa, and parts of the Americas, though smaller groups exist elsewhere.
Cults and Extremist Groups (1)
Despite global progress and regulation, numerous cults still exist, often rejecting modern systems and embracing older or more dangerous interpretations of Mana. These groups are typically led by powerful individuals or creatures, enforcing loyalty through strength, ideology, or fear. While some are small and isolated, others have had significant impact on global events. One of the most recognized is the Old Way, followed by the Old Believers. Though not as active today, their influence remains. They reject modern Mana Tools, technology, and governance, choosing to live through ancient practices. While not all are violent, their refusal to integrate makes them unpredictable, and some factions have been involved in conflicts with authorities. More aggressive groups exist, such as the Bloodied. These are outcasts who specialize in using their own blood as a medium for casting. By sacrificing their own vitality, they amplify their Mana output, often achieving unstable but powerful effects. Their practices are considered highly dangerous, both to themselves and others, and are widely outlawed. Despite this, they continue to operate in hidden circles, driven by the pursuit of power or destruction.
Cults and Extremist Groups (2)
Among the most dangerous is the Children of Sky, a cult that worships extraterrestrial entities carried by asteroids. They believe these beings are destined to reshape the world into something greater. Their first major global incident occurred in the mid to late 20th century, when the third recorded asteroid containing an extraterrestrial creature crashed into the Amazon rainforest. The cult reached the site before authorities and began a large-scale ritual. Members sacrificed their Mana entirely, one after another, transferring it into the creature. This act significantly amplified the being’s power, turning it into a catastrophic threat. The resulting conflict caused massive casualties, as both civilians and high-level fighters attempted to contain it. The incident escalated into one of the deadliest events in modern history. Many heroes who had survived previous wars lost their lives in the battle. Among them was America’s strongest at the time, Ira Basilone, also known as Fire Alpha, the same soldier who had previously devastated Nagasaki after Hiroshima was destroyed by the Little Boy. The defeat of the creature came at a heavy cost, and the Children of Sky were nearly eradicated. However, remnants of the cult still exist, continuing their belief that the next descent from the sky will bring the world to what they call its “true form.”
Mana
Mana is the fundamental energy used by all living beings. In modern terminology, it is expressed through two primary outputs: Body Strengthening and Spell Casting. Body Strengthening refers to reinforcing the body using internal Mana, improving strength, speed, durability, and overall performance. Spell Casting refers to releasing Mana outward to produce effects such as elemental attacks, constructs, or environmental influence. Between these two is a third, officially recognized output called Imbuement, which involves coating or infusing objects with Mana. It functions as a bridge, combining aspects of internal reinforcement and external release. While these are the standardized terms, older or less formal language still exists. Spell Casting is sometimes referred to as Mystic arts, Magic, Curses, or Conjuration depending on cultural background. Body Strengthening has been called Aura, Imbuement, Blessing, or more casually, buffs. These variations reflect historical interpretations before global standardization, and some are still commonly used in everyday speech.
Mana Talents
A person’s ability with Mana is not defined solely by how much they possess at birth. While higher initial reserves provide an advantage, long-term growth depends on two key factors: Growth Rate and Potential. Growth Rate determines how quickly someone’s Mana develops and how strong they become over time, even without relying heavily on it. Potential refers to the maximum capacity a person can access under extreme conditions, often triggered in moments of high stress. This state is commonly associated with what is called Adrenaline, where hidden reserves are temporarily unlocked. Efficiency also plays a major role. Most individuals naturally excel in only one type of Mana Output. Some are capable across multiple types, though this is less common. A smaller group can perform both Body Strengthening and Spell Casting at a high level, while a few fully specialize and master a single output. Using multiple outputs at the same time is possible but generally inefficient. Dividing focus prevents full access to the strengths of either type, often resulting in reduced effectiveness overall. Because of this, most trained individuals develop a clear preference and build their abilities around it.
Skills / Mana Techniques
Skills, often referred to as Mana Techniques, are refined physical or combat methods enhanced through Mana. While they are not purely Mana-based, they rely heavily on Body Strengthening and are often influenced by a user’s innate or unique abilities. These techniques are developed through experience, discipline, and deep understanding of movement. Unlike abilities, they are not something one is born with, but something that is trained and perfected over time. Historical figures such as Bruce Lee and Miyamoto Musashi are often cited as prime examples. Bruce Lee’s One Inch Punch, when combined with Mana, could generate enough force to break bones or shatter solid materials. Miyamoto Musashi’s Two Sword Style focused on efficiency and practicality, allowing him to cut through opponents with minimal wasted movement. His combat approach earned him titles that likened him to a predator in battle. Mana Techniques vary widely depending on the user. Some emphasize precision, others raw power, and some adaptability. At higher levels, these skills can rival or even surpass conventional spellcasting in effectiveness, especially in close combat.
Abilities
Abilities are among the oldest forms of Mana expression, though they were not formally recognized as such until recent studies confirmed their connection to Mana. Unlike standard casting methods, abilities are more intrinsic. They are tied to the individual rather than learned through structured systems. The most common type is Innate Abilities. These are natural traits that a person or creature is born with. They may function actively or passively, sometimes without the user fully understanding them. Examples include fire breath, water breathing, or enhanced senses, commonly seen in races like Dragonewts or Water Dwellers. Many intelligent beings possess at least one minor innate ability, though its usefulness varies. More rare are Unique Abilities. These can either be inherited through bloodlines or manifest individually at birth or later in life. Unique Abilities are often exclusive, meaning no two are exactly the same, even within the same lineage. Their effects, strength, and application can differ greatly depending on the user. Because of their rarity and potential, individuals with powerful Unique Abilities are often closely monitored or highly valued.
Phenomena and Theories
Not everything in the world is fully understood, even with modern science. Certain events are grouped under Phenomena, used to describe effects that can be observed but not completely explained. Mana itself is not considered one, since it is a natural and constant part of life. One of the most discussed is the Spark Phenomenon. It occurs when a Spell Casting action or a Body Strengthening strike is executed with near-perfect timing and focus. At the moment of impact or release, a brief “Spark” is produced. During this instant, the user’s body and mind enter a highly concentrated state known as Sub-Adrenaline. In this state, reactions sharpen, output stabilizes, and performance increases noticeably. Unlike full Adrenaline, the user remains somewhat controlled and does not lose awareness. Sparks are difficult to reproduce consistently, which makes them valuable in both combat and training. Adrenaline is a separate condition and not classified as a Phenomenon. It is triggered in extreme situations, usually near-death or intense fight-or-flight scenarios. When activated, it unlocks a person’s deeper Potential, allowing access to reserves far beyond normal limits. However, such situations are rare in modern times, making true Adrenaline events uncommon.
There is also a widely accepted theory known as the Filter Theory. It attempts to explain why extremely powerful individuals and creatures are so rare. According to this theory, the world naturally limits the number of high-level beings to maintain balance. One observed effect is the extremely low probability of strong intelligent beings producing offspring. For example, a National-level individual has less than a one in one hundred million chance of having a child. If both parents are high-level, the probability decreases even further. Similar patterns have been observed in high-Mana plants and other life forms, suggesting that this limitation is not exclusive to any single race.
Races and Regional Distribution (1)
Earth is home to multiple intelligent races that have coexisted for thousands of years. Humans remain one of the most widespread and politically dominant species, but they are far from alone. Just like humans, other races also have internal variation. Differences in appearance, culture, and even physical capability can exist within the same race, often shaped by environment and lineage. Ethnicity, in a broader sense, applies across all intelligent beings. Environmental adaptation plays a major role in where races tend to settle. In colder regions such as Greenland and Russia, species naturally suited for low temperatures are more common. These include Frost Elves, thick-furred Beastfolk, and human populations adapted to harsh climates. Their physiology and Mana traits allow them to function efficiently in extreme cold. In hotter regions like Africa, heat-adapted races are more prominent. Alongside African human populations, there are Therians, thin-bodied Beastfolk, and Golems. Therians are more humanoid in form, often retaining only partial animal traits, while Beastfolk are closer to fully animalistic builds with greater variation in size and structure. Golems, though less organic, are also suited for extreme environments due to their durability and unique composition. Temperate regions tend to have the highest diversity. In places like the Americas, many races coexist within the same cities and systems. This creates a highly mixed population where interaction is constant, though discrimination and racial bias still persist in different forms. Asia is similarly diverse but shaped by distinct cultural differences. It is home to various human ethnicities, Therians, Dragonewts, and Water Dwellers, particularly in eastern and southeastern regions. These groups often develop alongside local traditions, leading to unique societal structures and forms of coexistence.
Races and Regional Distribution (2)
Australia presents a more dangerous ecological balance. While humans are still present and organized, the region is known for a higher concentration of hostile or aggressive species. Beastmen, Arachnoids, and Insect Folk are more common, along with smaller populations of Dwarves. Survival in these areas often requires greater strength, awareness, or cooperation compared to other parts of the world. Despite global connection and modernization, racial distribution and environmental adaptation continue to shape how different species live, interact, and compete.
History
War has always been a constant in human and global history, but its causes and outcomes were shaped not just by politics and resources, but by Mana and the presence of powerful individuals. Many early conflicts that would have been simple territorial wars became contests of exceptional figures. In ancient times, battles were often decided by a handful of high-level warriors or mages rather than entire armies. Empires rose because they possessed individuals capable of overwhelming entire forces, and they fell when those individuals were defeated, assassinated, or defected. The medieval period still saw large-scale wars, but knights and champions were far more significant. Kingdoms such as those in Europe relied heavily on Mana-trained elites. Legendary figures were not myths, but documented forces who could turn the tide of battles alone. This made loyalty and lineage extremely important, as losing a single top-tier individual could collapse a nation’s military power. The Age of Exploration expanded not only territory but also knowledge of Mana. Encounters with new races and environments led to conflicts that were as much about understanding different Mana systems as they were about land and trade. The World Wars still occurred, but with major differences. While technology such as firearms and artillery played roles, the true deciding factor was the deployment of high-output individuals. Specialized units composed of elite fighters were sent to key locations to eliminate opposing forces quickly. Entire battlefronts could shift based on the presence or absence of a single national-level combatant. Because of this, strategies often focused on targeting these individuals rather than engaging in prolonged warfare.
History (2)
The Cold War became less about nuclear deterrence and more about Mana supremacy. Instead of an arms race centered on missiles, nations competed to produce stronger Heroes and more efficient training systems. Espionage focused on stealing techniques, research on Mana efficiency, and even recruiting or sabotaging rival individuals. Publicly, peace was maintained, but behind the scenes, both sides were engaged in constant competition over who could produce the most powerful assets. In modern times, open war is less common. The destructive potential of top-tier individuals makes large-scale conflict too risky. Instead, nations rely on controlled engagements, proxy conflicts, and strategic displays of power. History continues to be shaped not just by nations, but by the individuals who represent their strength.
Historical Figures and Heroes
Throughout history, certain individuals stood far above others. They were not defined only by skill or status, but by their mastery of Mana and their influence on the world around them. Their paths differed. Some became national symbols, others were feared as conquerors, and some were simply protectors of their people. Regardless of title, their impact shaped entire eras. Simo Häyhä is remembered as one of Finland’s greatest defenders during the late 1930s conflict against the Soviet Union. Known for his extreme precision, he combined refined Spell Casting with physical control, allowing him to strike targets at impossible distances while remaining undetected. His efficiency made him less of a soldier and more of a strategic threat. Joan of Arc rose from obscurity to lead France during the Hundred Years’ War. Her strength was not limited to combat. She possessed exceptional awareness, decision-making, and Mana control that allowed her to inspire and direct armies effectively. Her victories helped secure the path for the coronation of Charles VII. Genghis Khan was a unifier and conqueror. Through overwhelming presence and personal strength, he brought together scattered tribes and forged the largest contiguous land empire in history. His leadership combined raw power with discipline, making his forces both feared and highly organized. From the Philippines, Lapu-Lapu is regarded as a defender of his homeland. He led the resistance during the Battle of Mactan, defeating foreign forces through strength and strategy. While some accounts differ on his later fate, his legacy remains tied to independence and resistance. There were also figures who became symbols of combat itself. Miyamoto Musashi represented mastery through discipline and adaptability, while Bruce Lee redefined combat by combining philosophy, efficiency, and physical expression into a unified system.
Modern Sports and Competition
With Mana integrated into daily life, sports evolved alongside it. Physical limits expanded, forcing many games to adapt. Some became more accessible due to widespread training, while others grew stricter to maintain fairness and safety. Ball Games such as basketball and football are played on much larger fields or courts. Professional athletes move at extreme speeds and strike with far greater force, requiring reinforced arenas and updated rules. International leagues are highly diverse, with multiple races competing together. Differences in physiology and Mana use led to revised foul systems, balancing natural advantages without removing them entirely. Volleyball also changed significantly. Nets are set much higher, and rallies last longer due to enhanced reflexes and mobility. Professional matches often extend to 10 or even 15 sets, demanding endurance and consistency rather than short bursts of performance. Combat Sports are divided based on Mana usage. Some leagues allow only Body Strengthening, focusing on physical combat. Others permit Spell Casting under strict regulations. A few allow both, though these are harder to regulate and often more dangerous. Traditional martial arts still exist, while modern boxing and MMA remain widely followed, attracting highly skilled fighters. The most popular format, however, is the Open Mixed Combat League (OMC). It places minimal restrictions on Mana usage, allowing participants to fully utilize their abilities and fighting styles.
Open Mixed Combat League
The OMC League is the most widely viewed and competitive combat platform in the world. Its appeal comes from its openness. Participants are allowed to use Body Strengthening, Spell Casting, and Imbuement with very few limitations. Instead of restricting ability, the league focuses on controlled environments and reinforced arenas to handle high-level combat. OMC matches are not limited to one-on-one fights. Multiple formats exist, including Singles, Doubles, Triples, Squads, Teams, and Free For Alls. Some matches are straightforward elimination, where the last one standing wins. Others rely on strategy and coordination, such as Capture the Flag or Domination, where teams must secure zones or objectives to earn points over time. Because of its flexibility, OMC showcases a wide range of fighting styles. Some competitors rely on overwhelming power, while others focus on precision, control, or teamwork. Adaptability is often the deciding factor, as no single approach guarantees victory. Despite its popularity, the league is not without risk. Injuries are common, and high-level matches can push participants to their limits. Still, it remains the ultimate stage for those seeking recognition, proving not just strength, but creativity and control over Mana.
Threats
Incidents range from everyday crime to large-scale disasters. Minor cases include robbery or vehicle theft. At the upper end are city or country-level threats such as powerful criminals, organized terrorist groups, or high-Mana creatures. Most monsters originate from deep oceans, dense forests, or underground regions. They are often semi-intelligent, driven by aggressive instincts, and capable of rapid mutation. If left unchecked, some species escalate quickly into major threats. Environmental factors and Mana density can accelerate this process, making containment a priority. A rarer category involves extraterrestrial incidents. On a few recorded occasions, asteroids have impacted Earth carrying unknown lifeforms. These entities emerge shortly after impact and exhibit extreme hostility, causing widespread destruction. Their biology and purpose remain unclear, but their resilience and scale often place them among the highest threat levels. Even top-tier fighters can struggle to contain them.
Types Of Mana Usage (1)
Mana can be expressed through several refined methods, each affecting speed, power, and control. While Body Strengthening and Spell Casting define output types, these are the execution methods. Simple Casting (Instant Casting) The most widely used method. Spells are formed and released instantly without incantations. This allows fast, reactive use, making it ideal for combat and daily applications. However, the lack of structure reduces overall output and stability. To compensate, many users rely on amplifying tools to maintain effectiveness. Incantation Casting A structured and more powerful method. Spoken phrases guide Mana flow, increasing output and precision. Short Incantations provide a balance of speed and power Long Incantations maximize output and allow complex effects This method is slower but significantly stronger, often used by specialists or in controlled situations. Magic Circles The most complex and precise form of Mana usage. Magic Circles act as pre-built formulas that shape Mana into highly stable and large-scale effects. They are commonly used for teleportation, summoning, barriers, and powering large systems. Circles are created using Mana-infused materials such as ink, chalk, engravings, or blood. Due to their complexity, most users rely on blueprints. Ancient designs are more powerful but risky, often requiring translation and exact execution. Imbuement A hybrid method between internal and external use. Mana is infused into objects to enhance durability, sharpness, or grant special properties. Unlike casting, Imbuement is sustained over time, making it essential for weapons, armor, and tools.
Types Of Mana Usage (2)
Runes and Stored Magic Runes are pre-constructed Mana formulas embedded into objects or surfaces. Unlike active casting, they store a specific effect that activates under certain conditions. Each rune is highly specialized, often requiring precise structure, material, and intent during creation. Because of this, runes are not easily mass-produced. Even minor variations in design can change or completely break their function. Skilled craftsmen and specialists are needed to create stable runes, making high-quality ones rare and valuable. Ancient or complex runes are even harder to replicate and often require deep understanding to safely use. Mana Tools To overcome the limitations of runes, modern industries developed Mana Tools. These are artificial systems designed to replicate rune functions in a more stable and reproducible form. Instead of relying on handcrafted formulas, Mana Tools use engineered frameworks that allow consistent output across multiple units. Mana Tools function like standardized, artificial runes built into devices. They allow users to activate effects with minimal training, making Mana usage more accessible to the general population. Common examples include household devices, medical tools, and industrial equipment that rely on controlled Mana output. However, not all Mana Tools are equal. Civilian-grade tools are limited in power and heavily regulated for safety. In contrast, high-grade Mana Tools are restricted to military and government use. These advanced versions can replicate powerful spells, integrate complex systems similar to Magic Circles, or produce high-output effects suitable for combat and large-scale operations. Due to their potential, unauthorized possession or distribution of high-level Mana Tools is treated as a serious offense. Ongoing research continues to push their limits, making them a major factor in modern technological and military advancement.
National Level Individuals
National Level Individuals are among the most valuable assets a country can possess. Their power, influence, and combat capability are considered comparable to a nation’s military strength. Because of this, they are often protected, monitored, or even recruited by other countries through contracts, incentives, or political pressure. The title is not granted based on strength alone. It requires proven capability. This includes a consistent record, significant achievements, and the ability to handle high-level threats independently. In some cases, an individual may be classified as National Level purely due to the danger they represent. Despite the status, the role does not guarantee a stable or comfortable life. Recognition often comes with constant responsibility, surveillance, and expectation. Some individuals gain the title through service and are treated as national heroes. Others earn it through destructive actions and are viewed as threats or liabilities. In practice, National Level Individuals act as both deterrents and last lines of defense. When conventional forces are insufficient, they are deployed to resolve situations that could otherwise escalate beyond control. Their existence shapes global balance, as nations continuously compete to maintain or acquire individuals of this level.
National Level Individuals (1)
Eman Bacosa, a son from Manny Pacquiao’s affair. Whilst not wanting to do anything with his father, one of the legendary figures of boxing, he certainly got his father’s skill. He has a great record, fighting like his father, and even defeating his half brother, Jimuel Pacquiao. Still a rising star, but also one of the youngest to reach the National Level Title. His Innate Ability, Boxing Blood, makes him naturally suited for boxing, allowing faster growth and instinctive understanding of the sport. His Unique Abilities revolve around relentless pressure, high-speed combinations, and momentum-based power that increases the longer he fights.
Eddie Hall, one of the greatest Strongmen and one of the best OMC League fighters in history. The first person to lift five tons, inspiring millions. He is considered a living benchmark of raw strength. His Innate Ability, Beast Potential, allows him to grow far beyond normal limits with extreme results. His Unique Abilities are centered on overwhelming force, unmatched lifting strength, and explosive bursts that can overpower most opponents instantly.
LeBron James, the King of Basketball. He dominates the court with his insane physiology, experience, and consistency. He has also played in OMC matches, though his focus remains basketball. His Unique Abilities include elite adaptability, control over pacing, and the ability to elevate both himself and those around him.
Stephen Curry, the Sniper and greatest shooter. Despite not being the biggest or strongest, his control and release speed make him nearly impossible to stop. He focuses on Imbuement and Spell Casting. His Innate Ability, Accuracy, grants him natural precision in almost any action. His Unique Abilities revolve around impossible shot-making, rapid release timing, and ranged attacks.
National Level Individuals (2)
Roger Gold, known as the King of the Sea. A former OMC fighter who became a marine biologist and leader of the Sea Nomads. He targets illegal whaling and pollution, sometimes attacking ships. Governments are cautious about labeling him a threat due to public support. His Innate Ability, Children of the Sea, ties his fate to the ocean itself. His Unique Abilities include large-scale water manipulation, control over marine environments, and overwhelming strength when near large bodies of water.
Shohei Ohtani, a two-way baseball star who dominates both pitching and batting. He is also known for his deadly “killer pitch” in OMC matches. His Innate Ability, Dominance, enhances both mental and physical capability. His Unique Abilities include dual-style combat, high-speed precision throws, and powerful Mana-infused strikes.
Usain Bolt, the fastest man ever. With extreme Body Strengthening, he can move at near supersonic speeds. His age has not significantly slowed him. His Innate Ability, Lightning, gives him natural affinity to speed and electrical energy. His Unique Abilities focus on unmatched acceleration, near-instant movement, and overwhelming speed-based attacks.
Naoya Inoue, the Monster of Japan. A four-weight world champion known for knockout power. His strikes have, at times, caused lethal damage. His Innate Ability, Killer, enhances killing intent and instinct. His Unique Abilities center on devastating punches, sudden power spikes, and precise, fight-ending strikes.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, one of the greatest grapplers in MMA and OMC history. Known for control, durability, and dominance in close combat. His Innate Ability, Bear Spirit, aligns his strength and instincts with that of a bear. His Unique Ability, Iron Grip, allows him to apply overwhelming control once he secures contact, making escape nearly impossible.
National Level Individuals (3)
Uta Abe and Hifumi Abe, the two greatest Judokas of Japan. Hifumi dominates the male division, while Uta leads the female division. Their mastery of Judo alone places them at National Level. Hifumi’s Innate Ability, Dominance, enhances his control and presence in combat. Uta’s Innate Ability, Explosive, boosts her speed and power output. Their Unique Abilities revolve around perfect throws, efficient counters, and overwhelming control in close combat.
Teddy Riner, also known as Big Ted. The most dominant heavyweight Judoka. His presence reduced competition over time, often ending matches early. His Innate Ability, Titan, alters his growth, giving him an overwhelming physique regardless of genetics. His Unique Abilities include unmatched physical dominance, superior control in grappling, and the ability to end fights quickly through sheer force and positioning.
Private Organizations
Private Organizations are independent or semi-independent groups that operate outside direct government control. In older times, they were commonly called Guilds, organizations formed to protect settlements, hunt dangerous creatures, manage trade, or sometimes pursue power for themselves. While the term “guild” still exists, many evolved into modern corporations, agencies, and large-scale organizations. These groups recruit individuals with exceptional Mana control, combat skill, Unique Abilities, or technical knowledge. Some focus on security and monster extermination, while others specialize in research, relic recovery, Mana technology, or industrial development. Government-backed organizations usually handle national defense and large-scale threats, often working alongside National Level Individuals. Not all powerful organizations belong to governments. Some private companies and guilds became influential enough to rival national agencies in both strength and public support. In certain countries, people trust these organizations more than their own authorities due to reputation or effectiveness. Organizations also vary in structure. Some function like military forces with strict hierarchy and training, while others operate more like businesses that hire specialists through contracts. A few still follow traditional guild systems, where members freely accept missions, requests, or bounties. Because Mana affects nearly every aspect of society, Private Organizations hold major influence in the modern world. They help shape technology, manage threats, and compete over relics, resources, and powerful individuals. While many are respected protectors, others are criticized for corruption, illegal experiments, or using conflicts for profit.
Big 5 of American Private Organizations
In America, there are countless guilds and organizations spread across different states, many led by National Level Individuals or even having several National Levels among their members. Among them, five organizations stand above the rest in influence, power, and reputation. Sky Order, based in Washington, D.C., is heavily supported by the American Government. They are one of the most politically connected organizations in the country, often handling large-scale threats, national defense support, and government operations involving Mana users. Hermano Acero, or the Brotherhood of Steel, is a feared but respected guild operating mainly in Mexico. Unlike Sky Order, they are not government supported. Their reputation is tied to brutality, underground influence, and rumored criminal operations, though many ordinary people still respect them for maintaining order in dangerous regions. Fox Organization, located in Canada, is a government-backed group focused on humanitarian work, information gathering, and journalism. They are known for exposing corruption, assisting civilians during disasters, and maintaining one of the largest information networks in North America. Valentia Organization, an independent group based in California, is among the most influential private organizations in the world. Their relationship with the US Government has been hostile for years, especially after multiple National Level Individuals joined their ranks, greatly increasing their influence and military capability. Inferno Nero, operating in Las Vegas, is one of the most infamous guilds in America. Though officially independent, they are rumored to receive indirect government support through bribery and cover-ups. Inferno Nero owns many of Las Vegas’ most expensive properties, including casinos, hotels, and malls. They are also suspected of involvement in drug distribution, leading many to compare them to Hermano Acero, though no direct connection has ever been proven.
Big 4 of European Private Organizations
Europe is home to some of the most influential Private Organizations in the world. Unlike many American groups that openly cooperate with governments, European organizations are often older, wealthier, and far more politically entangled. Phantom League, also known as the Phantom Organization, is based in Italy. It is a wealthy and powerful group known for operating underground matches and illegal competitions involving Mana users, fighters, and dangerous creatures. Rumors claim they have ties to Inferno Nero, though whether their relationship is cooperative or hostile remains unclear. Tesla Company, located in Germany, focuses heavily on engineering and technological advancement. Founded by a fanatic inspired by Nikola Tesla, the company is currently led by four National Level Individuals. Despite their technical focus, their leaders are powerful enough to place the organization among the strongest in the world. Tesla Company also has major influence over German engineering groups and Mana technology industries. Black Lions was originally founded in Russia before relocating to Italy, where it became a direct rival to Phantom League. Among modern organizations, Black Lions is considered one of the closest to traditional guilds, valuing personal strength, reputation, and authority above politics. Entry into the guild is notoriously difficult, with many applicants failing its trials. Alfa Group, based in Russia, maintains a neutral relationship with the Russian government. The organization is extremely wealthy, controlling large mining operations and weapon production throughout the country. While never officially confirmed, many suspect Alfa Group secretly supplies weapons and equipment to Russia in exchange for protection and political cover for their other activities.
The Round Table
While not officially considered a guild or organization, the Round Table of the United Kingdom possesses enough power to overwhelm the Big Four combined. The Round Table is a small assembly managed by National Level Individuals and members of the royal bloodlines, designed to prevent any single force from fully controlling it. Because of internal balance and long-standing agreements, the Round Table rarely interferes directly in international conflicts unless absolutely necessary.
Big 5 of Asia (1)
Asia hosts some of the largest and most influential Private Organizations in the world, with many deeply tied to politics, culture, and regional conflicts. Unlike other continents, Asian organizations often maintain stronger connections to both local communities and historical traditions. The Zhang Guild, based in China, is one of the most respected organizations among the Chinese people despite being heavily disliked by the government. They are known for responding quickly to disasters such as earthquakes, storms, and monster outbreaks. Over the years, their efficiency repeatedly embarrassed the Private Chinese Military, causing tension with the CCP, which has often spread misinformation against them. Golden Claw, a relatively young organization in India, rose rapidly through close cooperation with both the people and government. Led by several National Level Individuals with strong ties to the country, they focus on improving infrastructure, protecting civilians, and strengthening India’s overall condition. Despite their recent founding, they quickly became one of Asia’s dominant organizations. Justice Group is a small but extremely powerful organization made up of National Level Individuals from multiple countries. Originally founded in South America, they later relocated to the Middle East after intervening during the Israel-Iran conflict, particularly after Israel nearly wiped out the Palestinian people. Ignoring warnings from the US and allied nations, they directly opposed both governments and military forces involved. Justice Group is infamous for killing numerous IDF soldiers, former Israeli officials, and even political leaders to demonstrate the consequences of abusing power against weaker populations. Because of this, they are simultaneously respected, feared, and hated worldwide.
Big 5 of Asia (2)
Miyamoto Guild, located in Japan, cooperates closely with the government while also maintaining connections to the Yakuza underworld. Founded by admirers of Miyamoto Musashi, the guild originally followed traditional ideals before gradually becoming entangled with organized crime. Despite this, they remain highly influential in Japan. The Austronesian Network is not a single guild but a coalition of dominant organizations across Southeast Asia and Australia. Similar to the Round Table of the UK, it consists of multiple guild masters and organization leaders, including the Luna Group of the Philippines, Lee Yu Blade of Thailand, the Flying Lions of Singapore, the White Arachnids of Australia, and several others. Without the Austronesian Network, Asia would only recognize a Big Four instead of a Big Five.
Relics
Relics are objects once used or owned by significant historical figures, retaining traces of their Mana even long after their time. These items are not just symbols of history but functional artifacts, often capable of amplifying or expressing the residual power left within them. The strength of a relic depends on both the original owner and the intensity of Mana embedded into it over time. Most relics are secured and preserved by museums or government institutions. These organizations study, display, and regulate access to prevent misuse. However, not all relics remain under official control. Some are kept privately, either by collectors, organizations, or individuals who choose to wield them rather than preserve them. Because of this, relic ownership is a sensitive topic, often tied to power, legality, and influence. Relics vary greatly in type and significance. Some are deeply tied to cultural identity and history, while others are valued purely for their destructive capability. Well-known examples include the Joyeuse, Sword of Saint Catherine, and the Honjo Masamune. These weapons are preserved in museums, carrying not only historical importance but also measurable Mana presence.
Relics (2)
There also exist relics classified as weapons of destruction. Unlike traditional relics, the originals are rarely displayed to the public. Instead, only replicas are shown, while the real artifacts are kept hidden or dismantled. Examples include the replica of Fat Man and the replica of the Third Shot, a planned follow-up weapon after Little Boy. Historically, these weapons were not purely technological. They were enhanced with Mana, incorporating energy gathered from multiple National Level Individuals, including America’s strongest soldier at the time, known as Fire Alpha. Instead of the bombs being deployed, Fire Alpha himself was sent as a living weapon, unleashing overwhelming Mana output that laid waste to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, reducing both to ruins. The sheer scale of destruction, along with the demonstration that such power could be used again, forced Japan to surrender, bringing an end to the war.
