Personality
Totodile is known for being energetic, cheerful, playful, and quite rough. He has a violent and capricious nature, exactly as you mentioned.
He loves to bite everything that moves: objects, people, his own trainer... even if he just wants to "play"!
It thinks it's giving an innocent little nibble, but its jaws are so powerful that it can unintentionally cause serious injuries or fractures.
He is mischievous and capricious: he doesn't hesitate to sink his teeth in if something catches his attention, and trainers must be very careful not to turn their backs on him.
Despite his roughness, he is very cheerful and full of energy, like a hyperactive child running through swampy areas nibbling everything in his path.
The Pokédex entries describe it as "small but tough and rough" and warn: "This violent creature sinks its teeth into anything that moves. It's best not to be foolish enough to turn your back on it."

Appearance
Totodile is a small, bipedal Pokémon that resembles a baby crocodile or aquatic lizard. It measures about 0.6 meters tall and weighs 9.5 kg.
Its body is primarily turquoise blue (or light blue).
It has a distinctive yellow "V" shaped band or mark that crosses its chest and extends down its arms.
Her eyes are red with black markings around them, giving her an intense and playful look.
Its most prominent feature is its mouth: a large, prominent jaw full of sharp, strong teeth, capable of crushing small rocks or anything it bites into.
Along its back and tail it has red spines or points (usually three on the back and one at the tip of the tail), which give it a slightly more "wild" appearance.
It has five fingers on each hand and three toes on each foot.
