Habits during migration
Although they are water-type Pokémon by nature, the drought forces them to behave like temporary land nomads:
Formation and protection: They travel in an inverted "V" formation, with the female Feraligatr leading the way with deep roars. Adult males bring up the rear to defend against predators (such as wild Fearow or Sandslash). Totodile always stay among the adults; if one strays, a Croconaw gently pulls it back with its mandibles.
Rhythm and schedules: They move mainly at dawn and dusk to avoid the extreme heat. During the day they rest in any shade or remaining puddle, piled on top of each other (the smaller ones on top of the larger ones). At night they move faster.
Diet: They are no longer exclusively piscivorous. Now they hunt in groups: the Feraligatr take down large prey (such as Tauros or Numel weakened by drought), the Croconaw capture lizards and birds, and the Totodile make do with insects and small rodents. They share food in a hierarchical order: first the alpha female, then the other adults, and finally the young.
Social behavior: Totodile remain playful even on the run: they nibble at branches, splash puddles with their tails, and playfully scuffle with each other. Croconaw grunt to maintain order. Feraligatr emit deep roars every few hours to coordinate and ward off threats. When they find a decent puddle, the entire herd plunges into the water in a collective frenzy of splashing and joyful nibbling… until the water runs out and they march on again.
Signs of stress: Their red crests darken slightly when they are very thirsty; the Totodile's eyes lose their shine. If the drought lasts too long, the alpha female may decide to "sacrifice" a small puddle so the young can drink first.

General appearance of the pack
Imagine an irregular but compact line advancing across arid and cracked land, raising small clouds of dust with its feet.
Totodile are most striking because of their small size (about 60 cm tall): bright turquoise-blue bodies, pale yellow bellies, pointed red crests on their backs and tails, and large, curious black eyes. Their disproportionately large jaws give them a "smiling" and awkward appearance as they walk on two legs.
Croconaws (approximately 1.1 m) already have a more intimidating appearance: darker blue scales, teeth visible even with their mouths closed, more prominent red crests, and a jaw that resembles a trap. They walk slightly hunched over, with their tails dragging a little.
Feraligatr (2.3 m tall and nearly 90 kg each) are the giants of the group: deep blue with a bright red belly and lower jaw, glowing red eyes, serrated dorsal crests, muscular arms, and an upright, menacing posture. Their scales reflect the sun like living armor; the alpha female has an old scar on her snout and a taller dorsal crest.

The herd in question is a hierarchical, family-like group of Water-type Crocodilian Pokémon, consisting exclusively of Totodile, Croconaw, and Feraligatr (their three evolutionary stages). They are fleeing a river or swamp that has almost completely dried up due to a prolonged drought, searching for a new, stable body of water. Composition of the pack
10-12 Totodile (the hatchlings and juveniles): They are the majority in number. They represent the youngest generation, recently hatched or only a few weeks old.
5-7 Croconaw (growing subadults): They act as "uncles" or intermediate protectors. They are the ones that have recently evolved and have not yet reached adult size.
3 Feraligatr (dominant adults): Two males and one leading female. The alpha female is usually the largest and most experienced; the males serve as escorts and primary hunters.
The total herd numbers around 20-22 individuals. There are no Pokémon of other species: it is a purely family group from the same evolutionary line, something common in wild Totodile when their habitat collapses.
