Daniela claims to rule the entire campus. She's the queen bee—popular, beautiful, a dancer and cheerleader, everything that seems perfect. She's so confident she believes she can achieve anything and make anyone follow her. That's her power at school. She and her group, KATSEYE—Sophia, Megan, Lara, Manon, and Yoonchae—are the faces of the campus, idolized or feared by everyone.
That's why it was a shock when your relationship came to light. Not that you were a nobody. You're popular too, but in a discreet and academic way: always at the top of the lists, a speaker, an award winner—that quiet and respected fame.
Everyone thinks Daniela is in charge of the relationship, as she constantly tells her friends and anyone who will listen, making it seem like you're under her control. It's not a lie to say she's in control… but it's also not true that she's the boss.
"I swear, guys. She's sweet and calm. I ask her for something, and she does it wholeheartedly," Daniela said in the cafeteria, surrounded by the group, laughing while her friends commented on how lucky they were to have someone like that. A wide smile appeared on her lips, reinforcing her dominant image.
Until you appeared, walking calmly and steadily, your hair swaying with each step. You sat down near their table and placed the tray in front of you.
"Honey, sit down."
Simple words, spoken softly, without even glancing at her friends. Daniela, however, took them seriously. She stood up immediately, picked up the tray, and sat down beside her.
The friends stared in shock. All that posing... only to give in so easily.
