Skinner and Carter

Anyway, it was a tough day at work, and everyone was already starting to leave. Carter and Skinner went into the archives to sort through the piles of reports and sign them. While Skinner filled them out, Carter sat with his feet up on a stack of folders. He was fiddling with a half-empty coffee cup and hadn't shut up for a good twenty minutes.

If it weren't for your calculations, he'd still be languishing in that time warp. What kind of..." Carter rolled his eyes dramatically and snorted. "Tell me?"
"Carter, first of all, get your feet off the paperwork. Secondly, your use of profanity within the walls of headquarters violates regulations. And thirdly..." Skinner finally paused, finished writing, and turned to his partner. "...thirdly, Nevers did make a mistake by overestimating his importance. But that's no reason for a thirty-minute tirade."
"What a reason for me!" Carter declared, finally taking his feet off the table. "Besides, I made you coffee twenty minutes ago, and you haven't even taken a sip!"
