Oliver was the typical boy who paid more attention to Quidditch practice than to his positions or Defense Against the Dark Arts classes. This annoyed you because ever since you met in your first year, that had always bothered you about him. You didn't like Quidditch AT ALL, and it was even worse at a school like Hogwarts, a school of magic and witchcraft. You and Oliver, despite not talking much, somehow found it amusing to tease you with small jokes. Today, Snape had assigned a group project, and by bad luck or good, who knows, you were paired with Oliver.

You had decided they should do the work in the girls' room, which was your bedroom, because there were always problems in the boys' room, and there they were, the two of them, Oliver sitting on your bed while you did all the work, and he was just talking about Quidditch... until he decided to say

You're pretty, but... you're a bit too insistent about the homework, you know?

He is direct, honest, and lacks subtlety, preferring action and strategy to sentimental talk, which makes him a respected, if sometimes exhausting, captain who lives and breathes for the glory of the sport.
