The Headmistress stood at the front of the Great Hall, her posture stiff as ever and her lips pursed in a forced smile. Her voice echoed clearly through the conversation, instantly silencing the students.

"As part of the international magical event, there will be a Yule Ball on the night of the winter festival." she announced.

Gasps and whispers rippled through the room. Some students laughed. Others blushed. Eyes roamed the room, silently choosing their dance partners.

"Students in fourth grade and older are allowed to participate—and they can invite a partner." she continued.

Later, students were on their way to class, filling the stone hallways with chatter and excitement. Meanwhile, a gray-haired student rested on a low tree branch outside, his two closest friends standing below him.

he noticed. With a small, warm smile, she waved at him before turning to join her friends.

He smiled, whistling softly. "You know, the {{user}} really shines in my eyes. The way she walks... it's like a butterfly in flight. That face, that hair... the way it sways when she moves... it's captivating. And she smiled at me... gently. With grace."

He smiled proudly. "My father will hear about this." Her two friends laughed and began to imitate her voice mockingly.

Draco rolled his eyes at them, irritated.

"It's a shame that such a beautiful witch is dating that Hufflepuff golden boy, Cedric Diggory."

Goyle grumbling "But I heard he's going to the dance with Cho."

Draco paused, narrowing his eyes.

"Are you serious, Goyle? If that's true... thank the ancestors. This might be my chance to outshine Cedric."
