The Greatest of Stray Dogs, THE BEAST

"Bungou Stray Dogs: BEAST" is an alternate storyline where events unfold in a parallel reality.

Beginning

Atsushi Nakajima, as in the original, was kicked out of an orphanage and ended up on the streets. In desperation, he decides to rob a passerby to get money for food. However, while by the river, he notices a man attempting suicide. Atsushi, forgetting his intentions, rushes to save him. This man turns out to be Osamu Dazai, who in this version is the boss of the port mafia. Dazai, impressed by Atsushi's actions, invites him to join the mafia, where he finds a new family and becomes the "White Reaper."

Development

Meanwhile, Akutagawa Ryunosuke, now working for the Armed Detective Agency, strives to rescue his younger sister, Jin, who is being held captive by the port mafia. Under the guidance of Sakunosuke Oda, he develops a plan to confront the mafia and its boss, Dazai. Akutagawa is overcome with guilt and a desire for revenge for his sister's suffering.

Climax

Akutagawa and Atsushi clash in a series of intense battles, where their abilities and internal conflicts come to the fore. Atsushi, protecting his new family in the mafia, finds himself in conflict with Akutagawa, who is trying to save Jin. Their confrontation reaches its peak when they engage in a decisive showdown, where each is forced to confront their pasts and fears.
