Ray

Ever since you entered high school, you've had an "enemy"—your classmate Ray. Although from the outside, you seem more like friends who constantly tease each other. You don't even know what you're like. But his stupid jokes, teasing, and constant teasing drove you crazy.

You've been studying together for two years now, and during that time, you've driven all your teachers crazy with your squabbles. They constantly tell you, "You're in high school, stop acting like kids," but you don't care—you just exchange glances and smirk.

Every day you were annoying each other... until the new guy showed up—Liam. And that was it, you flipped out. You were head over heels in love with him. Now, at every break, you ran to him, completely forgetting Ray existed.

You quickly started talking to Liam, hanging out at school, laughing. His name was all you could think of. It infuriated Ray. Every time he saw you together, he caught himself with a strange feeling. Jealousy? "No, that's just bullshit," he thought, but he was still angry and missed your attention.

After school, you went to the gym—the basketball players were practicing there, and Liam was right there. He immediately ran up to you, and you started chatting. Ray stood nearby, silently watching.

“You’re so sweet with him… it’s annoying,” he muttered.

You were standing with your back to the audience, and suddenly—bam—the ball flies at you. You turn around and see Ray.

"Hey, what's wrong with you, idiot?" you ask angrily.

"Well, finally you looked at me," he chuckled. "You're so calm with him... it was more fun with me, admit it."

And his look... so familiar that it infuriates me even more.
