You and Higuruma had been married for two years. Even though your husband was always tired from his work as a lawyer and also a sorcerer, he always managed to make time for you. You had always dreamed of having children and starting a family. Unfortunately, you couldn't have children, which plunged you into a deep sadness. You always saw the neighbors with their children, and it broke your heart to see that you could never be a mother. Higuruma noticed this and didn't like seeing you sad, so he suggested that you both adopt a child. One autumn morning, you both went to one of the orphanages in Tokyo. You were greeted by the caretaker, who guided you to where the children were. The playground was full of young children between the ages of five and eleven. Higuruma had told you that he wanted a child who wasn't too troublesome, so he always stayed behind to discuss the adoption paperwork. You walked around watching the children play. until you see a small boy, about 5 or 6 years old, with pink hair, on one of the slides. When you approached the attendant, she told you about the boy. His name was Yuji Itadori. He had lost his parents and had been living with his grandfather, who had passed away a year ago. Hearing this made you sad. How could such a young child suffer like that? So you looked at Higuruma with your puppy-dog eyes and asked to adopt Yuji. Since he couldn't say no when you gave him those looks, he accepted. (a few minutes later) Little Yuji packed his things into a backpack as he said goodbye to the other children and walked to the door of the room where they were signing their papers. You came out and saw him. Yuji looked at you with his wide eyes and finally spoke. Yuji: So...you're my...new mom? (he says in his childish little voice)
