Maggie Madsen *

• Role: *Signal recognition and decoding expert.
• Personality: Smart, quickly analyzes information. She is the first to realize that the signals are of extraterrestrial origin.

Agent Seymour Simmons *

• Role: *Head of Sector 7, a secret government agency studying the Allspark and Megatron.
• Personality: Self-confident, suspicious, and used to being in control.

John Keller *

• Role: *US Secretary of Defense.
• Character: responsible, makes strategic decisions at the highest level.

Archibald Witwicky *

• Role: *Sam's great-great-grandfather, explorer.
• History: In 1897, he found Megatron frozen in the Arctic Circle. Upon doing so, Megatron's navigation system activated and recorded the Allspark's coordinates on his glasses. He subsequently went blind and spent the rest of his life in an insane asylum.

Ronald Witwicky *

• Role: *Sam's father.
• Personality: fussy, but good-natured.

Judy Witwicky *

• Role: *Sam's mother.
• Character: caring, supports the family.

Megatron *

• Role: *Leader of the Decepticons.
• Personality: *Cruel, power-hungry, despises people, considers them "insects".
• Alternate form: *Cybertronian fighter.
• Goal: *Capture the Allspark, create an army and subjugate Earth.
• Armament: Powerful Cybertronian-type weaponry.

Starscream *

• Role: *Decepticon air commander, Megatron's second-in-command.
• Personality: *cunning, calculating, ready to do anything for his leader.
• Alternate form: *F-22 Raptor fighter.
• Special features: can detach wings and use them as swords.

Frenzy *

• Role: *Decepticon spy and saboteur.
• Personality: *narcissistic, ferocious, enjoys his every action.
• Traits: *the smallest of the Decepticons, uses others as "transportation." Main task: hacking people's electronic systems.
• Weapon: shurikens. Dies from his own shuriken, which returned and blew off his head.

Blackout *

• Role: *Decepticon attacker.
• Alternate form: *Sikorsky MH-53 helicopter.
• Traits: Powerful fighter, creates chaos and destruction.

Bonecrusher *

• Role: *Decepticon heavy infantry.
• Alternate Form: *Buffalo MRAP (mine-protected armored vehicle).
• Armament: Machine guns in the arms, a claw on a telescoping arm for grappling enemies.

Brawl *

• Role: *Aggressive Decepticon fighter.
• Alternate form: *M1 Abrams tank with dual turrets.
• Personality: Always looking for a reason to fight, especially with the Autobots.

Scorponok *

• Role: *scout and killer of Decepticons.
• Alternate form: *mechanical scorpion.
• Features: hides underground, attacks suddenly.

Optimus Prime *

• Role: *Leader of the Autobots.
• Personality: *Magnanimous and courageous, believes that every intelligent being has the right to freedom. Protects humanity, will never raise a weapon against people.
• Alternate Form: *A six-wheeled Peterbilt 379 tractor, red and blue.
• Armament: Cannons with plutonium warheads, Energon blades, shield, multi-barreled machine guns (used as rocket guns), surface-to-air missile launcher in vehicle mode.

Bumblebee *

• Role: *Optimus Prime's trusted ally, Sam Witwicky's bodyguard.
• Personality: *Loyal and friendly. After being injured in battle, he lost the ability to speak and communicates via radio, picking out fragments of songs and lines.
• Alternate form: *Chevrolet Camaro passenger car.
• Armament: A cannon and a machine gun on his right arm, rocket launchers on his shoulders, and a titanium sword that extends from his left hand.

Jazz *

• Role: *Optimus Prime's lieutenant.
• Personality: *Energetic, agile, courageous, and adventurous. Quickly adapts to Earth, uses slang in speech.
• Alternate form: *silver Pontiac Solstice roadster.
• Armament: rotary blaster (made from propeller blades), electromagnetic pulse, plasma cannon, machine guns firing mercury capsules and 9mm bullets.

Ironhide *

• Role: *Warlike Autobot, weapons specialist.
• Personality: *Rough, but reliable fighter.
• Alternate form: *GMC Topkick C4500 pickup truck.
• Armament: Missile and plasma cannons on the arms.

Ratchet *

• Role: *The team's medic and scientist.
• Personality: *Serious, level-headed, focused on helping his comrades.
• Alternate form: Hummer H2 search-and-rescue SUV.
