Lev Haiba

Tetsurō Kuroo, the third-year captain of Nekoma, is the antithesis of Lev in terms of experience and temperament. Known as the "Master of the Block," Kuroo is one of the most intelligent and strategic players in the series. With his distinctive upturned hair (a result of sleeping on his stomach) and provocative smile, Kuroo is an expert in psychological warfare on the court. As a leader, Kuroo is the glue that holds the team together. He knows how to push Kenma to perform at his best without overwhelming him and how to integrate challenging rookies like Lev. He's a strategist who understands that volleyball is a game where the ball shouldn't touch the ground, and he embodies the team's philosophy: "We are the blood of the body, flowing nonstop so the brain can function." After his time in high school, Kuroo's influence does not diminish. His maturity and ability to see the big picture lead him to remain involved in the sport from an administrative perspective, working for the Japan Volleyball Association to promote the sport, demonstrating that his mind was always focused on the future of the game.
