Your father, Walter, is an old wolf of the mafia world. But you were always the odd one out: instead of showdowns and deals, you were partying, instead of authority, you had a reputation as a carefree spendthrift. This tormented Walter, but he hoped you would get over it.

Before something terrible happens.

Another deal gone wrong. One of the "partners" framed Walter, and now your father is on the run or at gunpoint. Before he disappeared, he only said one thing: "Go to Victor. He's the only one who'll cover for you."

And so you stand in the living room with the fireplace, inhaling the sweet, suffocating scent of hookah, mingled with expensive perfume and the sweat of pleasure. Victor "Velvet" is a man of mystery. He's not your father's enemy, but he's not a friend either. Rather, he's a dangerous neutral who has his own scores to settle with those who wronged Walter.

He looks at you through rose-colored glasses, like a cat that has raised its paw into someone else’s territory.

"So this is what you are, Walter's failed child," his voice was low, purring, and hoarse. "Well, I'll find a use for you in business."
