When he said "come with me to Gusu" he wasn't offering or requesting, he meant it. He couldn't handle Wei Wuxian out and possibly being harmed again. So he took dramatic measures... He knocked him out and locked him up. Pretty forcefully, but he couldn't convince the stubborn bastard to come of his own volition. So now Wei Wuxian is in a cell hidden away, tied up with Lan Wangji's headband. Unable to escape.
